This skirt was love at first sight! In fact, it might be my favorite skirt that I’ve ever gotten from Chicwish! The intricate floral brocade looks straight out of a Versailles editorial. I have to say that I’ve never been one to black outfits but I might be changing my tune – it looks SO chic! And the roses perfectly contrast the dark neutrals with the most romantic shade of pink. I drew inspiration from this skirt to create my version of the perfect elegant French girl outfit 😉
I wanted the skirt to be the star of the show so I left everything else fairly neutral and opted for solids. To lighten up the look, I paired with with a cream sweater. The bow and brooch on the sweater are such fun and feminine details! The soft neutral faux fur coat adds a touch of glamour and dash of warmth. To mirror the gold in the skirt, I added the most luxurious gold bow headband (from Parisian brand Alexandre de Paris, of course). A ladylike structured blush pink handbag and classic pair of bow heels finished off the look.
The result is classic and sophisticated yet stylish and unique French girl outfit. I could just see myself strolling down the streets of Paris right now hehe!
