I’ve been a lover of pink since I can remember. And when I say pink, I mean all shades of it! Over the years, I’ve gravitated more towards lighter blush tones but seeing magenta trending this season has reawakened my love for the hue. Or perhaps it’s all the Barbie inspo hehe? Whatever the case, I’m glad it’s here to stay. Read on see how to effortlessly incorporate this bold hue into a feminine pink blazer outfit for spring!

Blazers have come a longgg way since I started working! One of my very first jobs was as a bank teller. I have never felt so bored with my outfits in all my life haha. At the time, it was more professional to wear neutrals, especially dark neutrals and I was all about color! It was very hard to find professional workwear that was not only feminine and stylish but also something that I would feel good wearing. As a rule follower, I succumbed to the drab color palette of grey and black, which made me feel sartorially stunted. Those were some dark days – literally lol!
Luckily, workwear has come far in the past decade with many options now offered to women (and men). We now have a variety of colors, prints, textures and shapes to choose from. It’s never been easier to express yourself in your workwear, which makes me feel so much joy!
A frequent question I actually get asked is “How can I look more feminine at work?” In short, look for feminine details like ruffles, bows, pin-tucking, and lace along with feminine fabrics and feminine silhouettes. When it comes to details, less it more for a professional environment, unless you work in the creative field.
This pink blazer outfit is a great example of how you can look polished and put-together on the job while also expressing your personal style! The pink blazer and dress are actually separate pieces but they are made of the same material and look amazing together as a pink suit set! The blazer is simple and streamlined with a classic look, giving you endless options to pair it with. As for the dress – it has a swingy ruffled hemline and a dainty ruffled collar, two simple design details that make a big impact.
To finish off this outfit, I kept the color palette simple by adding a few white accessories. A white bow belt, simple block heel and tweed handbag break up the magenta a bit. Jewelry is elegant and elevated with a chain design and rhinestone detailing on the necklace and bracelet. The finishing touch, of course, is my favorite pearl headband. I love wearing it with my day to day outfits but it also looks amazing with dressy or professional looks as well. Plus it’s super comfy for all day wear!
