If there was ever a fictional style icon, it’s Blair Waldorf 😉 And today I’m sharing an outfit inspired by everyone’s favorite queen bee! Gossip Girl has been at the forefront of my style journey and although the show has come and gone, the outfits remain inspiring as ever. With the Academia trend on the rise, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to share this Blair Waldorf inspired outfit. Read on for details!

Although most of my Blair Waldorf style inspiration comes in the form of headbands, I can’t help but love this blazer! This is actually the same blazer that I wore at fashion week a couple of years ago but in a different color! The fit is immaculate and I really love how versatile the color is. Plus it has slight shoulder padding, which I love because it emphasizes the waist and balances out my hips. This is definitely the blazer of all blazers!
To create this look, I paired it with with a plaid mini skirt that echoed the blazer color. I was really drawn to the black bow of the blouse and although, I don’t typically style black and brown together, I have to say that it’s such a chic combination! Why did I wait so long lol? I added black throughout via my bag, boots and headband to balance out the look. And of course, I chose my pearl embellished headband as an ode to any Blair Waldorf inspired outfit. It’s classic, chic and elegant. I just adore how this outfit turned out!
