Day four started off with a shoot in the iconic Central Park! I’ve been to Central Park once before but it was literally for five minutes… we walked into one corner and walked back out to make it to the airport haha! So imagine my excitement when I not only got to see Central Park in all it’s splendor, but I also got to take photos at some of my bucket list locations like the Bow Bridge!

This outfit was inspired by this gorgeous Merve Bayindir hat! The detail on it is just incredible – look at those pearl flowers! I knew it would be a perfect match with this gorgeous Shopyte dress. The top is a favorite that I’ve had in my closet for many years (in fact, I wore it last year too!) and I knew it would look amazing paired with this dress! Fun fact: This was my most photographed outfit streetstyle-wise!

Tibi

I’ve gone backstage at Tibi for the past three seasons but sadly, I missed out this time due to a delay with the subway 🙁 But this is the first season that I watched the show and it was such an incredible experience! A lot of the pieces were very structural, which I loved from an artistic perspective. To me, Tibi always embodies the “cool girl” and the designs told that story very well. I just can’t get enough of the painted floral dress and full pink outfit (that trench!).

Aveda created the chic hairstyle which features a sleek center part, contrasting textures and natural dry waves. The collection as a whole incorporated a lot of different types of fabrics so Aveda decided to represent that in the hairstyle as well with a slick, wet-looking top and dry, texturized bottom.

For my second look of the day, I wore an amazing floral top and skirt set from House of Campbell and this gorgeous leather blazer from DEA the Label, two designers that showed at the Fashion Palette show! I love the two piece set because I can style each piece together or with other items that I have in my closet. The floral print is so pretty and will be perfect for fall! And this leather blazer is honestly a dream! It’s incredibly well-made and beautifully designs with the most perfect fit! Honestly, the prettiest blazer I’ve ever seen and just about as edgy as I get these days haha! Just call me Lizzie in Leather 😉 Also, both designers are such sweethearts – very kind and talented people! I had a full on conversation with the designer of House of Campbell about our love for Disney haha!

Fashion Palette: House of Campbell

Absolutely adored every piece in this collection! I would honestly wear it all. I loved the rich burgundy with the florals and check print and the mix of the tulle, chiffon and faux fur were such a dream! I also really loved the small details like the 40s inspired waves, feminine socks, pearl hair pins and floral headscarves that really brought the collection to life. It was such beautiful collection and I’m so excited to wear my floral set into the fall!

Outfit Details

Shopyte Dress | Merve Bayindir Headband | Everlane Heels c/o (also seen in this post) | Mary Frances Handbag c/o

I know I already gave you all a sneak peek but I had to include this pretty outfit again! Absolutely adored this beautiful floral embellished Merve Bayindir headband and Shopyte pink dress. The headband included stunning fabrics flowers with the daintiest pearl details – definitely a statement piece in itself! And the pink dress is seriously the most perfect shade of pink and I just love the fun collar details. Of course, I had to style it with my favorite Mary Frances handbag!

Lela Rose Backstage with Color Street

I had the opportunity to go backstage at the Lela Rose show with Color Street! Color Street offers real nail polish strips in the prettiest colors and trendiest patterns. They are super easy to apply and last up to 10 days! They applied them to my nails and I couldn’t believe how amazing they looked. The color that Lela Rose chose for the show was a gorgeous yellow shade.

Lela Rose

Lela Rose is always one of my favorites and this season’s show definitely didn’t disappoint! I always appreciate when designers put a lot of thought into the locations show design – this one had gorgeous tables lining the walkway (complete with flowers and bread!) and the most stunning yellow rose petal runway. The collection itself made all of my girly dreams come true! There was no shortage of beautiful dresses and I can honestly say that I’d wear them all!

Veronica Beard

I absolutely loved the Veronica Beard presentation! As I walked around the room, I took a mental note of all the items I wanted to add into my closet. The room was full of bright and cheery hues, pretty plaids and dreamy florals – my idea of the perfect spring wardrobe! I loved that I could see the fabrications and design details up close and of course, everything was styled to perfection! I’d wear all of these in a heartbeat!

What really inspired me was the hair! The Morroccanoil team created the hairstyle of my dreams and I have been OBSESSED ever since! I am such a fan of 60s inspired style – clothing, hair, makeup, you name it! I love the modernized take on the classic bouffant style. You’ll definitely see me rocking this in the future 😉

Dinner in Brooklyn

I made the trip to Brooklyn for the first time where I got to witness the Brooklyn Bridge in all it’s glory! The city lights twinkled in the distance and it was really such a gorgeous display. We ate at the most amazing place (I have no idea what it was called hah!) and I had pizza for the first time in four months!! They offered dairy free cheese and I was seriously in heaven. Best pizza ever!!

I hope you enjoyed my NYFW S/S 2020 Recap: Day 4 & 5! Stay tuned for the last post on Friday where I’ll share more amazing shows, my mini Gossip Girl tour and the piece I wore that I designed myself – eek!
