I guess you could say I’m floral obsessed (I mean… it’s pretty obvious, right? LOL!). From floral dresses and floral furniture to floral-infused beauty products and the abundance of florals in my Instagram feed, it’s safe to say that I’m a fan 😉 And while most equate florals to spring time, I love to wear them year round. When I saw this collection from Colombian designer Ana Carolina Valencia, I was completely smitten! Seriously, ALL of her pieces are absolutely gorgeous!
In a time where dainty jewelry seems to reign supreme, it’s so refreshing to find such bold, eye-catching and unique designs that make a statement. Each piece is like a wearable work of art and like the women that wear them, they were made to stand out. As you know, I love to support women-owned businesses and the fact that each piece of jewelry is made by hand is just incredible. They are honestly even prettier in person, if that’s possible and the designs remind me of something that royalty would wear! I knew it would be the perfect way to update my spring wardrobe!
When transitioning from winter to spring, I revel in maxi dresses for their stylish functionality. This particular dress has a little house on the prairie meets victorian vibe that I love and I thought it would look perfect styled with my statement jewelry. I adore high collars and I thought the pearl choker would accentuate it even more. I’ve never really worn a choker over a high neckline before but I’m really loving how this turned out! In a similar fashion, I decided to style my double floral cuff on top of the sleeve instead of the traditional way. I think it super chic and fashion forward – plus with the ruffle detailing peeking out, it almost looks like part of the dress. Lastly, I donned a floral cocktail ring to finish off the look. The intricate filagree and pearl details are to die for! All of the statement jewelry pieces look incredible styled together or by themselves. I really love how they played of the gold belt buckle too! 🙂 If you’d love some of these pretty pieces for yourself, check out her website and use LIZZIE at checkout for 15% off until June!
