After what seemed like an eternity of rainy, cloud days, the sun has finally decided to come out and I’m channeling that through bright and colorful clothing! Colorful coats are a practical, fun and stylish way to make a statement. They keep you cozy on those chilly days and can put a smile on anyone’s face… even on the cloudiest day 🙂 I think a colorful coat is the perfect must-have for transitioning to spring because unlike a dress or blouse, it’s the first part of your outfit that someone (including yourself) sees.

When I first saw this coat, I was immediately drawn to the bright rosy hue and vintage swing style. I normally go for more tailored coats but this one was just too fun to pass up! I also really loved the big retro buttons and large feminine collar. It’s lightweight as well so it’s the perfect item for transitioning to spring and a great companion for those chilly mornings and evenings. I paired mine with a flirty black and white ensemble – a darling polka dot button up and dark jeans finished off with a classic handbag, cap toe heels and the most adorable bow headband.
