As I mentioned, I don’t wear much red for Valentine’s Day… or any other day haha. Most of you may know me as the queen of pink and rightfully so 😉 I’ve worn many pink V-Day looks in the past but sometimes you need to change it up.
This heart sweater started my love affair with this red Valentine’s Day sweater outfit idea. I’ve been eyeing Valentine’s Day heart sweater for a few years but I never quite made the jump (until now, that is). I’m actually wearing it backwards for these photos (the hearts are perfectly placed on the elbows) but I think it looks cute either way. When I saw this skirt and KNEW that it would be the perfect match for this heart sweater. This midi skirt is the perfect shade of red for Valentine’s Day and has gold metal heart-shaped buttons lining the front. It is SO cute and makes a statement in the best way!!
To finish off this red Valentine’s Day outfit, I donned a pair of red vintage inspired glitter heels, a white tweed handbag and my favorite pearl headband. Both the shoes and handbag include sparkle that’s subtle enough for daytime – it lends a festive touch without being too over the top. And of course, I had to include my adorable heart keychain from the Lancôme Emily in Paris collection and a swipe of my fave red lipstick!
