Even though I love polka dots as a whole, I have a thing for white and black polka dots specifically. They are practically a neutral and look amazing with everything! I love pairing them with bold solid colors, chic neutrals and even other prints! The moment I saw this polka dot top I knew it was keeper because it can be dressed up or down so easily. For this outfit, I wanted to create a fun yet sophisticated look that would be appropriate for work (or any occasion, really!). I paired it with this feminine bubble gum pink skirt to add a dash of whimsy without being too over the top. The simple black accessories pulled the look together perfectly for a chic finish.
Now for my weekend plans… yesterday was actually my Friday so I am off for four days – YAYYYY! And today is my little brother’s 17th birthday so we are heading somewhere special to celebrate (I won’t put it on here yet because it’s a surprise for him, but feel free to check it our adventures on stories!). My sister and brother-in-law are also coming down over the weekend to celebrate and I am so excited to spend some time with my sweet one year old niece! Aside from birthday celebrations (and hopefully, watching Crazy Rich Asians), I’ll be getting everything ready for NYFW – AHHH! I have literally been looking forward to this since the day I got back last year haha! I’m still waiting on pieces to arrive as we speak and honestly, I feel like I have so much to do to prepare. Also, my phone is in desperate need of an upgrade so this is definitely a priority before I leave as I don’t think it’s going to last through fashion week haha (for those of you wondering, I’m still sporting the iPhone 6s and I can’t even believe it’s even lasted this long lol)!
