Happy Friday, beauties!
I hope you are having an amazing week! It’s been a longgg one for me – read on to see what I’ve been up to and to see how I styled this pretty white ruffled summer dress!

I don’t know about you, but it’s been a crazy crazy week. In the past seven days, I’ve been down to LA three times! Keep in mind that these trips are 2-3 hours one way IF traffic isn’t backed up. I do quite a bit of driving for my other business as well so it makes for a very exhausting few days. Because of my schedule and the distance, I have been picky in the past about what I choose to accept and well, this week has been an exception because everything happened to fall during the same week and I figured that sometimes you have to take advantage of the opportunities you’re presented. If you’ve been following along on my Instagram, then you know that I attended the Shape Body Shop event this past week and had a blast! It was so motivating and inspirational – if you’re in the area, I highly recommend attending next time 😉 Last night, I attended my very first brand dinner with OPI to celebrate the launch of their fall collection and you guys…the colors are unreal! I’ll definitely share them on stories. The event itself was set up beautifully with fresh flowers, colors from the newest collections and of course, the most amazing Peruvian food (I had lamb for the first time!). I got back super late and woke up early to make the drive back down there because… I’m getting hair extensions haha! So this is a big deal for me because I’m very particular about my hair. I’m a natural blonde and have gotten the same color highlights since I was in high school. There was one time (right before I started the blog) that I went darker and I freaked out. It didn’t look horrible on me but it was just too different. Suddenly, none of my outfits looked the same with my new hair and I had no idea who was staring back at me in the mirror. I changed it back within a week and it took a while to get it back to normal so I vowed to never do anything like that again. I was also never really interested in extensions because I didn’t want my hair to look “fake” and I didn’t want it to get damaged since I try to take really good care of it. However, after doing some research and seeing how natural they can look, I decided to try it out because… YOLO haha! Follow along on my stories to see the process in action!
On to this dress: I found this a few weeks back when we were shopping at The Grove after our Disney adventure. We don’t have a Nordstrom anywhere near where I live so I always like to stop in when we’re down there. I found this beauty and fell in love! My husband and I have been down there many times, but this is the first time that we’ve actually purchased anything (I’m picky) so you know it’s good 😉 I couldn’t resist it because it’s all kinds of frilly and has three of my favorite things: ruffles, swiss dots and floral print! It would be perfect for a bridal shower but I think it would also look cute dressed down 😉 For this outfit, I paired it with a pair of mint green heels and a pink and mint jeweled clutch. I accessorized with a minimalist pendant, pearl bracelet set and acrylic mint bow clip.
What are your plans for the weekend?
xo
Also, have any of you had hair extensions? Tips appreciated lol!
