With fall on the horizon, I’m getting excited to switch up my wardrobe and try some new trends! And while trends are always fun and exciting, nothing compares to a classic – a lovely polka dot dress… the perfect mix of summer and fall with just the right amount of retro inspo. I know a good dress when I see one and this. is. it! The color is the prettiest shade of emerald and the polka dots are so much fun! This beauty also includes a matching polka dot belt to cinch in the waist and really give it that feminine vintage style shape (matching belts are so on trend!). Plus the adorable bow around the neck is the perfect finishing touch on a stunner of a dress. It looks like something right out of Mad Men!
To contrast the emerald, I paired it with a gorgeous blush pink handbag (such a pretty color combo) and a white pair of heels to mimic that retro look. To finish it off, I adorned the bow with a brooch and donned a pearl embellished headband. The finished look is elegant and sophisticated yet fun and stylish.
The long sleeves also make it seasonally appropriate yet breathable and easy to layer. I can easily see this dress spanning several seasons! It would look amazing with a pair of tall boots and an equally stunning coat in the winter (I think a matching emerald would be beautiful!). And the best part is it’s on sale! Just in time for fall 😉
