It’s finally February and I am so excited because a.) Valentine’s Day! and b.) my blogiversary! Speaking of which, I’m showcasing my Valentines Day outfit today! If you missed my gift guide, you’ll definitely want to check that out as well 😉

As you know, I don’t reserve pink only for Valentine’s Day (which is my favorite holiday aside from Christmas, by the way). 😉 I wear it year round in many, many different hues and strangely, never tire of staring into the candy colored abyss that is my closet. That being said, I’m pretty obsessed with this ruffled tulle dress! The mauve color is soooo pretty in person. It looks a bit different on the website, but I would say that it’s pretty true to the color in these photos. I’m the queen of ruffles so I fell hard over these unique details. It’s also looser fit, which I love (perfect for when I eat too much haha). The shoes matched perfectly and I love the how the tulle and velvet play off of one another (plus the pearl details are just too cute!). I added my favorite quilted handbag and a darling pink coat on top for this year’s Valentines Day outfit! Anyway, I’m not quite sure what our Valentine’s Day plans are yet. We typically skip going out on the actual holiday because everyone and their brother has reservations and I just can’t deal with waiting two hours to eat haha. We usually do something the weekend after….go out to dinner, go to the movies, go on a road trip…something fun that doesn’t put too much pressure on anyone. I’ll be putting together a fun V-Day date guide next week so be on the lookout for that!
Also, my three year blog anniversary is in exactly one week and I’m starting the festivities early! I have a handful of great Instagram giveaways happening every other day starting on Sunday.
