The Prettiest Polka Dot Tulle Dress

California fashion blogger, Elizabeth Hugen, styles a feminine polka dot tulle dress for summer.

It’s a rare occasion that I don’t wear color in my wardrobe but I have taken a liking to neutral ensembles as of late, especially when it’s as pretty as this darling polka dot tulle dress! Check out the details below!

I used to think that tulle was only reserved for skirts and while a polka dot tulle dress might not be the most practical of things but I can honestly say that I would wear it everyday if I could! It’s flirty, fun and twirls like a dream. And while I typically stay away from nude-colored items for fear of them blending into my skin (lol!), I could not be more obsessed with this. The polka dot print helps, I’m sure 😉 The design is sophisticated, feminine and looks like something straight out a Parisian daydream. This is definitely one of those dresses that looks much more expensive than it really is and with layers and layer of twirly tulle, it can easily make anyone feel like royalty. To finish off the look, I added a classic black cap toe heel and a gorgeous cross body handbag along with metallic accents from my belt, jewelry and gorgeous pearl hair clip. But in true Lizzie fashion, I had to add a dash of color somewhere so I chose to experiment with my makeup a bit 🙂 I replaced my normal nude eye shadow with some fun shades of pink – eek! Do we like?
