Vintage Inspired Orange Polka Dot Dress
Mixing patterns is one of my favorite things to do. It makes an otherwise “normal” outfit look fun and exciting. Some of my favorite patterns to mix are stripes, polka dots and floral prints. Make sure they are in the same color family to avoid looking like a clown (haha!). Also, it usually looks better if the prints vary in size. Pull it together with a neutral piece and simple accessories…Tada!
Orange is definitely not my favorite color. In fact, it’s my least favorite color but somehow it doesn’t look so bad in certain shades. This dress is a rusty orange, which I particularly like and matches so well with the floral print on the scarf. Plus it has polka dots and cute peter pan collar. This outfit is actually pretty warm and would be a great transitional style for spring or fall. I just love this Vintage Inspired Orange Polka Dot Dress Outfit!
Speaking of fall, our weather has been so crazy here! Just last week it was mid 70s and sunny…warm even! Right now, it’s rainy and cold. I guess spring isn’t here yet after all. A girl can dream though. 🙂
