I hope you had an amazing weekend! Today, I’m ending my fashion week coverage with my NYFW F/W 2019 Day Three & Four Recap! For even more NYFW coverage, don’t forget to check out Day One and Day Two 🙂
NYFW F/W 2019 Day Three & Four were much less busy than Day One and Day Two so we took advantage by exploring the city. First stop, the famed Brooklyn Bridge!

This was my third visit to New York but the first time I had ever seen the Brooklyn Bridge in person! It was absolutely surreal and I’m so glad I got to finally check it off my bucket list. We woke up super early for this shoot so we could avoid the crowds but holy moly, was it cold! Like… the coldest I’ve ever felt in my life. I thought my hands were going to fall off when I snapped photos of the other girls and my legs felt like giant ice blocks as we walked back down the bridge. But it was worth it!!
Brunch at Old Rose
After our shoot, we had brunch at the cutesttttt spot ever! This photo doesn’t do it justice…it’s SO gorgeous in person! Plus, I had the most amazing breakfast and hot chocolate. I will definitely be back in the future!
Tibi Backstage with Aveda
I have gone backstage at Tibi all three seasons that I’ve gone to NYFW and each time, it’s the most magical experience! Aveda always does such an amazing job with the hair and this season was no exception – it was all about sleek ponytails and textured tresses (they used a curling iron to create a unique effect! Check out my stories for a closer look!). The first photo was taken outside the venue by one of the Aveda photographers (they loved my hair bow!!) and was my official OOTD 😉
Exploring the City!
Outfit Details
Chi Chi London Coat (old – similar herehere) | Chicwish Top c/o | Chicwish Skirt c/o | Marc Fisher Boots (save on these) | Gucci Handbag
Aveda was really my only NYFW event of the day so I was left with a lot of time to explore! First stop was Laduree, of course, for some sweet treats 🙂 Afterward, we found this adorable Summer Fridays set up at Maman and let me tell you, it was insanity! The area was quite small and there was a line of people waiting for photos. Imagine a room full of 30 bloggers lol.
Dinner with Friends
After our adventures in Soho, we went to the cutest Italian restaurant to meet up with some real-life blogger friends! It’s always so fun to meet people in person that you follow and talk to online. Plus the pasta was to die for! We left with full stomachs and new friends 🙂 Well, not that full because I had the most amazing chocolate chip cookie afterward haha!
Networking Event
So…one of the roomies had a networking event and asked if any of us wanted to attend. Networking is something that I’ve been wanting to work on this year and she is AMAZING at it so I obliged. It was completely out of my comfort zone but I did it! And I made two blogger friends in the process! It was so scary to me at first, but I’m really glad I went!
Day Four
The day started off with a quick photoshoot and then off I went to my last show! On the way, I met the most incredible uber driver who just happened to be a retired fashion designer from Victoria’s Secret!

Last year, I had planned to attend Lela Rose BUT the weather had other plans and the show ended up being moved to the day after I flew out! So you can imagine my excitement when I got to see the designs in person this season. It was pretty risky being that I had to go the airport immediately after the show, but it was worth it.
This was hands down the most incredible show! It was a play on the Westminster Dog Show, which I thought was so unique and fun! The designs were absolutely stunning (I want one of everything ha!) and the dogs were just too cute! Personally, this show was a major turning point for me as well (I’ll expand on that in a future post – see a snippet in this Instagram post).
Overall, it was another amazing fashion week! February definitely has a different vibe than September but I will explain in detail in a later post 😉 To see a playback of the shows and events in real-time, be sure to visit my NYFW February 2019 highlight on Instagram.
