I’ve been in Big Bear all week for a press trip and we ended up getting snowed in yesterday. So what does a group of bloggers do on a snow day? Photoshoots, of course ha! This is the Big Bear winter outfit I wore for exploring the town!

My First Trip to Big Bear

For those of you that aren’t familiar, Big Bear is a small ski town in Southern California. This was my first time going and it definitely didn’t disappoint. It’s not everyday that I see snow so I was very excited to experience it firsthand. Although, I’ve seen snow before, this is actually the first time that I saw snow fall, which was absolutely incredible! I danced outside, made snow angels and just took it all in.

We stayed in the beautiful Club at Big Bear Village with Bluegreen Vacations. Our cabin was spacious, cozy and luxurious with massive bedrooms, individual bathrooms with spa tubs AND showers, fireplaces and gorgeous rustic decor. The town was a short walk from the property and we enjoyed lots of great food, interesting shops and of course, good company. I actually ended up finding a small music store and got my guitar playing in 😉 The whole town looked like it was straight out of a Christmas movie! There were lights strung all over the trees, Christmas decor everywhere you looked and fresh snow coating every inch of the town.

What I loved most is the incredible friendships I made with other influencers. We laughed, cried and really got to know each other one a personal level. We all shared our hopes and dreams as well as our fears and insecurities. It was a really a beautiful thing to see so many different people come together as strangers and leave as friends.

We ended up getting snowed in and had to stay an extra day but it ended up being amazing and the property was so accommodating! Overall, we had a really nice stay and I am looking forward to coming back soon 🙂
