I have to say, I am LOVING all the feminine trends as of late! The rising popularity of pearls, puff sleeves and princess dresses makes my heart skip a beat. Floral prints are having a bit of a moment and in general, people seem to be dressing up a bit more, which I love (see ya later, sweat pants!).
Another trend I adore is the smocked dress trend and apparently, I’m not the only one. The trend has made it’s way off of Instagram and into the real world. I remember smocked dresses and tops being a big thing many years ago and while I loved them then, I love them even more now! They look amazing on but are also inclusive when it comes to sizing.
This dress has been on heavy rotation for spring. With it’s lightweight material and easy wearability, I can easily see myself wearing it into summer. I love the floral print, colors and slight puff sleeves. It’s like a mix between a princess dress and the cottagecore aesthetic (two of my current favorite styles as a girly girl)!
Another element that I added to this outfit is this amazing vintage handbag! I shared a bit about it in a previous Month in Review post but here it is in all it’s glory!! I haven’t figured if it’s from the 1950s or 60s but regardless, it’s gorgeous!!
