Feminine Fashion Blogger Elizabeth Hugen of Lizzie in Lace shares What to Wear for Thanksgiving 2021 including a pretty plum maxi skirt, plum boots and a cream mock neck top

I’m seriously astounded by how fast this year flew by! I feel like just yesterday we were starting off the new year now, we are less than two months away from a new one. This holiday season is definitely my favorite of all! From the savory feast and gratitude of Thanksgiving to the fun festivities and memory making of Christmas, there’s definitely a lot to love.

One of my favorite things about the holiday season is…. holiday outfits!! I’ve been sharing tons of glamorous holiday party dresses as of late so I thought I’d share something more seasonally appropriate – what to wear for Thanksgiving 🙂 Check out the details below!

When fall rolls around, I like to trade in my pretty pastels for elegant jewel tones (although if I’m being really honest, I still wear pastels haha!!). There is just something so magical about these deep hues that seem to mimic the changing leaf colors and autumnal environment. Plum is probably my absolute favorite of all jewel tones. I’m sure doesn’t come as a surprise since I’m such a fan of pink!

This stunning shade is utterly feminine, regal and show-stopping in the best ways. I’ve gotten SO many compliments on this skirt and these boots already!! I love pairing this color with everything under the sun including other jewel tones like navy and emerald, light neutrals, and any shade of pink from a light blush to a deep mauve. Plus it’s such a flattering color on pretty much everyone!!

For this outfit, I went with a silky, twirly maxi skirt in this statement-making hue. I paired it with boots that were a darker shade of plum for a chic and elegant look. This mock neck top is a cozy and sophisticated addition to the skirt. It would also pair well under sleeveless dresses as well! For a pretty pop of color, I included a pink handbag. To finish off the look, I incorporated a stunning gemstone necklace and ring that showcase the most gorgeous jewel tones.

Since we have mild fall and winter weather in California, this would probably be the extent of my Thanksgiving outfit. However, if you live in a colder climate, try adding some fleece lined tights and a cozy belted coat. Chic and warm! 😉

I hope you loved this Thanksgiving outfit idea!

Do you already know what you’re going to wear for Thanksgiving?

xo
