When I saw this skirt, I knew I would be getting a lot of wear out of it for spring and summer. It seriously goes with everything!! Don’t believe me? Check out the outfits below for more inspo 😉
For this outfit specifically, I wanted it to be a mix of vintage and romantic style with a touch of whimsy! I have to say that my vintage-loving heart is ecstatic at the resurgence of retro finds in fashion as of late. Collars are one of the season’s biggest trends and personally, one that I just adore! I knew this blouse would be a perfect match for the skirt. It’s made of a voluminous blush mesh and includes embroidered flowers. The skirt also has a beautiful texture that I think works well with the embroidery. The pearl buttons inspired me to added even more pearls (because you can never have a enough lol!) so I went for a pearl bag, pearl headband and pearl clip on earrings (they have a slight 1960s vibe to them!). I finished o9ff the look with my favorite pink bow heels. Now I know it’s a fashion faux pas to pair shoes with an ankle strap with a midi skirt since it doesn’t elongate but at the same time, fashion is about expressing ones self and rules are meant to be broken 😉 Does anyone even follow “fashion rules” anymore? Ha!
Anyway, this skirt could easily be dressed up or down and looks just as chic with heels as it does with sneakers. It would look super cute with a buttoned up blouse for work or a tee for a cute, casual look. Discover more ideas below!

What a unique skirt! I love the sheer bottom half with the shorter piece beneath. It’s beautiful and you styled it in such a gorgeous way. I love the other options as well. I think I’d end up reaching for the ladylike look with the chunky cardigan! Or if I’m being really honest, I’d probably just pair it with a graphic tee and a pair of sneakers haha!! I’m nearly too simple with my style now!
