Prior to reviewing the Viqure EpiPro Laser, I had never used any type of hair removal device because I was too scared lol! How to use the Viqure S-LD laser?
Steps for Use:
- Plug in device and disinfect treatment tip.
- Prep the area by cleaning with a mild cleanser and shaving. Afterwards, apply gel to the treatment area. I recommend the Viqure cooling gel (if it’s unavailable, check out this alternative)
- Put on the included safety goggles.
- Press the ready button to start (treatment can be adjusted during the process, if needed).
- Glide over the treatment area or use the stamp technique (make sure the tips is perpendicular to skin, not tilted). To stamp: press button for on shot to treatment area (great for smaller areas like fingers, toes and upper lip). For continuous, long press the button and slide back and forth in circular motion (great to larger areas like arms and legs).
- Clean area with water and apply cold compress or repair cream.
- Turn off and unplug device. Clean and disinfect treatment tip.
How long does it take to work?
For hair removal, use the device every 4-6 weeks. It typically takes 3-5 treatments for hair removal. Results last up to two years!
My Experience: Viqure S-LD Laser Hair Removal Device Review
When testing anything new, especially when it comes to beauty devices, I always start with a small area to see how my skin will react (and to get the hang of it before moving to a larger area). This might be controversial but I actually shave my arms and have done this for over two decades. Therefore, I tested this out a with a small treatment area on my arm.
The device is easy to use and it encourages painless laser hair removal for sensitive skin. It felt comfortable in my hand and comfortable on my skin. It’s very easy to maneuver into smaller areas, which makes laser hair removal so much easier! There was a hint of redness, which was to be expected but I didn’t experience any issues whatsoever. Even after one treatment, I’ve already noticed less regrowth and a softer texture. I plan on using this for my underarms as well! I’ll keep this post updated with my progress and results so stay tuned!
