Styling with Vienne Milano Stockings
Happy Friday! 🙂
I was approached last week by Vienne Milano stockings to work on a project. For those that are unfamiliar, Vienne Milano sells stockings…gorgeous stockings! The project was to build an outfit around a pair of their stockings using Polyvore. I hadn’t ever used Polyvore previously, so it was interesting to figure out how to use it but also very fun!
For my first outfit, I started off with block polka dot stockings. I am in love with polka dots, so it’s an obvious choice. I added a bright pink dress and toned the color down with black accessories and a neutral trench coat. The result is clean and polished, yet fun and exciting. I would wear this outfit on a date.
For my second outfit, I used a light colored stocking with a fun bow in the back. I found this beautiful skirt that reminded me of spring time. I would love to have it in real life! I paired that with a gorgeous pink blouse with pussy bow. For a simple, clean look, I paired it with a nude pair of heels and bag, plus a gold bangle. This would be the perfect outfit for a day out.
For the third and final outfit, I chose black lace stockings. In order to showcase the beautiful pattern on the stockings, I chose a simple black skirt and paired it with a black clutch and heels. To sweeten it up, I added a pretty pale pink top and necklace. This is definitely something I would wear to work.
All of these outfit combinations directly reflect my style and are something that I would wear on a day to day basis. I didn’t do it purposely, but I realize that I chose the a similar color palette for all the looks making it look like a collection. I have a similar version of these items in my closet, so I can directly reproduce these looks. This was a really fun project and I want to thank Vienne Milano for giving me the chance to build outfits around their gorgeous stockings! I hope you like what I’ve created. 🙂
