Today marks an important day in history (in my history, at least). Pants are just not something that I reach for when creating outfits and I’ve certainly never been enticed to buy them. In fact, I’ve shared many reasons why I love dresses in the past and typically, this is what I opt for in both personal and professional circumstances.

Over the years, I’ve been known for my love of dresses and I assure you that I have one for every single occasion. With that being said, my style has become much more experimental with time and I’ve opened myself up to trying to new colors, silhouettes and even clothing items. I mean, just look at all the black that I’ve been sharing as of late. Before, I don’t even recall having much black in my wardrobe at all! And I’m not even sorry about it. Who even am I? Haha!

In regards to the trousers – I’ve actually been on the lookout for a good white, high-waisted, wide leg pair (for sartorial needs mainly). I’ve seen them on plenty of people and thought they looked amazing! And I actually think that this is in response for looking for the perfect white high-waisted short for summer (still looking).

I’m not a fan of wearing jeans for many reasons but mainly due to the comfort factor (or lack of). Trousers, however, seemed much more comfortable, flowy and lightweight … almost like a skirt of sorts, which I love. And the white? Well, it goes with everything including all of my pastel tops, floral shirts and cozy knits!

I’m happy to report that after many years, I have found the PERFECT pair of white trousers and I could not be more obsessed! They’re comfortable, affordable and flattering on my body type. The only thing, however, is that they are too long and a bit too large in the waist (which tends to happen often as I’m 4’11”). Once they are altered, they will be even more perfect!

As for styling, I wanted to include them in some sort of Valentine’s Day outfit that would be office appropriate (highly requested). I paired them with a dreamy white sweater with gold buttons and a feminine pink coat with a faux fur collar. For accessories, I included a pair of light pink heels and of course, my favorite Kate Spade heart bag! I finished off the look with an adorable heart shaped initial necklace and a stunning pink pearl headband.
