For this look, I thought I’d dress it up a bit with a structured cape. Side note: I feel like people should wear capes more often – they’re so fun! 😉 This one gives me Gossip Girl vibes so you know I’m all about that! The “sweater” on top is actually a sweater dress. I thought the black and nude tones matched perfectly with the skirt! And for the accessories, I kept it simple and elegant with a pearl headband, black cap toe heels and a small black handbag.

For this look, I wanted to create a cozy look with this incredible floral sequin oversized sweater! Being that I’m under 5 foot, oversized anything can be quite overwhelming. To create a more feminine silhouette, I tucked it into the waistband of the skirt. The neutral tones of the sweater and skirt work well together but instead of including black accessories, I opted for grey to mimic the silver sequins. I styled with a grey crossbody bag and bow heels.

Which of these looks is your favorite? How would you style this polka dot tulle skirt?

Lizzie, this skirt is magnificent! I love the color and the polka dots and the style. And both ways you have worn it are fabulous. I agree with you about capes, they are so fun and dramatic and such a great topper to keep an outfit really interesting. Simply beautiful, my friend. Have a greta weekend!

I’m not sure I would ever, in a million years, be able to pull off a skirt like this! But girlfriend, you look fantastic in it! Both outfits are absolutely to die for, but the first has to be my favorite. So elegant and fun simultaneously. You nailed it!

Both these looks are adorable, what a cute skirt. I’ve been toying with getting a tulle skirt, but will hold off until this lockdown finishes. Thanks for hosting the linkup Lizzie. Jacqui x
