I love that fashion has become more sustainable over the years through a variety of different means. Personally, I try to be more sustainable by thrifting for unique pieces, choosing higher quality items that last much longer and donating or consigning lesser worn items to give them a second life. I’m excited to introduce you to a new subscription box that identifies with the same beliefs that I hold regarding style, sustainability and charity. Read on for my honest The Wardrobe Box review!

The Wardrobe Box Review
What is The Wardrobe Box?
The Wardrobe is a non-profit based in Philadelphia that has been outfitting people for over 25 years! With an abundant inventory of high quality brands, they’ve decided to create personalized boxes of secondhand clothing and accessories. These seasonal boxes are created based on your unique style profile and include four clothing items and an accessory for 70-90% off retail prices. Boxes are available for all styles and genders and include brands such as Anthropologie, Free People, Vince Camuto, Tahari by ASL, Banana Republic and more. Also, for each box purchased, a box is sent to someone in need <3 Boxes can be purchased individually, annually or on a one-time basis.
After I signed up, I took a quiz to complete my style profile. It asked a variety of questions to better understand my individual style and then they sent my box! Let me just say, that I’ve tried clothing subscription boxes in the past and most ended up being a disappoint as I feel the stylist didn’t understand my style. That is not the case for this one! Even with the limitation of secondhand picks, I was so pleased to find beautiful items that perfectly matched my style in the box. The packaging and presentation was also really nice!
What was in my box?
Floral Vince Camuto Dress
First impressions – love the color, shape and fabric. This is a very high quality dress! I’m not typically a fan of cap sleeves but I actually don’t mind this one. It’s very cute!! There were no flaws whatsoever on the dress. It looks perfectly pristine! Also the size is perfect. During the quiz, there was an option to input your measurements so I feel like that was super helpful.
Pink Ruffle Zara Top
Of course, I love the pink and the ruffles! The fabric is super nice and while it’s in my normal Zara size, the fit is huge! It has a wider fit, which I know was trendy, but since I’m petite, it looks a bit overwhelming (even when tucked into a skirt). I also have a similar top already in my closet. I appreciate the stylist choosing this for me as it does fit my style but sadly, it’s just too big so I will likely donate for someone else to enjoy <3
Embellished Ann Taylor Skirt
I don’t typically go for tighter skirts but I actually like this one! It fits perfectly and I am in love with the embellishments. I actually don’t have much of this color in my wardrobe, surprisingly. I think it will be perfect for fall and going into the holidays! It’s not something I would have picked out for myself and I love that!! Also, there are no missing jewels or flaws of any kind.
Unbranded Floral Embroidered Shirt
There is no tag so I’m unsure of the brand. I actually have a dress with similar embroidery and I love it! The florals are super pretty and I think it would look great with so many things. It also looks like it was well taken care of as there are no flaws of any kind.
Pink La Regale Beaded Handbag
I love that they include accessories in their boxes! This was such a fun surprise. I love a good beaded handbag and this one is absolutely adorable! The color is the perfect shade of pink and the beads have a subtle sparkle. This would be perfect for day or night and I can see it mixing in easily with my existing wardrobe. Also, there are no loose or missing beads.
Overall Thoughts on The Wardrobe Box
Overall, I really enjoyed The Wardrobe Box! You can tell that they care about their customers, the clothes and their mission. I think it’s a great way to bring unworn clothing and accessories back to life and it was a lot of fun to see what they picked out for me. The quality and condition of the items are near perfect and the entire process was really simple. I love that you can be stylish, sustainable and help do some good for others <3 Highly recommend!
