Happy Monday, lovelies!
I hope you all had an amazing weekend! Even though it’s still practical summer in California, I’m getting a little impatient for fall so I ended up switching out my wardrobe this weekend. I did a massive closet clean out recently but didn’t go through my shoes, handbags, jewelry or fall items so I’ll be continuing that throughout the week ๐ To get in the fall mood, I’ve been wearing tweed on repeat hoping the weather will follow suit lol! Read on for more details about this gorgeous neutral tweed dress!

I’ve been loving all tweed everything lately (see proof in this post)! I think it’s the perfect cold weather fabric and it just looks so chic! This dress was on my wishlist and I have to say that it’s even better in person. You may or may not be familiar with Chicwish (and if you aren’t, I have a full review up here and here) but I have a ton of their items in my wardrobe. They tend to have really cute, feminine styles that are hard to find anywhere else and I’ve had a great experience with most items I’ve received. I wanted to comment on this item in particular because the quality is superb compared to the price! It looks so much more expensive than it is and the fabric is just beautiful. I will say that it’s on the thicker side so this would be perfect for those that live in colder climates (and winter for those of us in warmer states). Also, it fits true to size. I usually size up in shift dresses to accommodate my hips, but I actually should have ordered my regular size in this one because it’s a bit large. It’s very well-made and the buttons are actually pretty nice for the price (I have a thing with buttons and feel like they can make or break a garment and even a cheapen an otherwise beautiful item). I also love the addition of the pockets! The design is gorgeous and the colors are perfect – white and black with the faintest hint of shimmer. Not only is this dress super warm but I feel like it would look great paired with pretty much any color.
How would you style this neutral tweed dress?
