It’s not very often that see you me wearing an animal print…. in fact, I’m not sure that I’ve ever worn animal print on the blog lol! Leopard print is a huge trend right now and it certainly brings back so many special memories. I recall the “too short” pair of leopard print shorts that I wore to death in high school, my first “big” J.Crew purchase (a pair of leopard print pointed toe flats) and leopard print silk scarf given to me by my great grandmother. All of which bring back such happy thoughts 🙂 I’ve always had a soft spot for the print for that reason but at the same time, it’s always been something I’ve styled sparingly into my wardrobe.
In my opinion, I think that animal prints can add a dash of glamour into your wardrobe but they can also overpower it as well. Rather than dressing head to toe in the print, I prefer to add in hints of it here and there – a faux fur leopard print collar adorning my favorite winter coat has always been one of my favorite ways to incorporate it! But there is something I love more than a faux fur collar…. a beautiful leopard print coat!
When it comes to fashion, I tend to march to the beat of my own drum. While I love to include trends in my outfits from time to time, I always stay true to my ultra feminine style. I’m not one to jump on trends just for the sake of doing it but when I do, I love to incorporate it in a different way. For this reason, it’s taken me many years to find my perfect leopard print coat but I’m happy to say that the search has finally ended!
While many people gravitate toward the traditional leopard print, my ideal is actually the white snowy leopard print. It’s unique and whimsical, goes well with everything and has that old Hollywood charm that I adore! It looks equally good with a pair of jeans as it does with this gorgeous satin dress. I love how well the colors pair together and the differing textures are just pure magic! A classic all it’s own, this leopard print coat is definitely one that you’ll want to include in your wardrobe this season (and I promise you, it’s going to sell out!).
