Today I’m venturing out and talking about my experience with my first piece of wearable tech…this super stylish and ultra feminine smartwatch! Read on to see why I waited to jump on the trend and why this accessory is perfect for every fashionista!

This might come as a surprise, but I have never owned a smartwatch before this. In fact, while everyone else was hitting up their nearest Best Buy to get the latest in tech accessories, I just never had the urge. I thought they looked too “sporty” for me and I couldn’t see any of the options fitting in with wardrobe (and I must admit that when I see everyone doing something, I do the complete opposite haha!). However, when I saw that Kate Spade was coming out with a smart watch, I nearly died (because duh – Kate Spade!). I knew I HAD to have it in my life! Suddenly, I could think of a million reasons to have a smartwatch, especially one as beautiful as this one. To be completely honest, the main selling point for me was being able to customize the watch face to my outfits. I know that sounds silly but really, it’s every fashion girl’s dream 😉 And even though I thought it might still be “bulky,” I was excited to see that it’s actually the same size as a regular watch…plus I love that the nude blush band and rose gold hardware goes with everything!

As someone who has never owned a piece of wearable tech, I was completely nerding out over the fact that I could now receive text messages, track my fitness, set reminders and have access to my calendar among other things. This has made staying organized so much easier… especially since I feel like I’m always running around and like my to-do list is a million miles long haha! I’m sure you all can relate 😉

I knew it would pair perfectly with this gorgeous pearl jacket for an ultra feminine and classy look! I styled it with my favorite flower appliqué skirt (I’ve probably styled it a million times on the blog lol – see the proof here, here, and here). I added a pretty pop of pink with this adorable ruffled bow blouse and these darling bow heels. I topped it off with this sparkly headband (side note: did you know BaubleBar had headbands? Being the fanatic I am, I had to order both lol!). Also, I actually had a completely different bag picked out but I forgot it (story of my life) so I had to improvise haha! But I do think the dark blush nude gives it a nice contrast 😉 You can actually match the face to the outfit you’re wearing with a variety of color and face options, but lately I’ve been loving this cute “Leading Lady” face (I even customized the lip color to match anddd the eyes wink!).
