I hope your week is going well! I have been taking it easy with my hand this week so I apologize for all the crazy posting times lol. Anyway, I’m sharing one of my favorite fashion trends with you all today and giving you 5 tips for styling socks with heels!
5 Tips for Styling Socks with Heels

Let me just preface this by saying that I wear some crazy things sometimes, but wearing socks with heels is definitely something that is out of my comfort zone. When I think of socks with shoes, I think of some guy wearing chunky white socks with sandals and I’m not about that haha! It’s so silly but because of that, I have never really experimented with this trend. Luckily, the socks with heels options are a lot cuter for 2018 and they are inexpensive (usually under $5-10) 😉 They make a statement without being over the top. I especially love the sheer anklets like the daisy lace one I’m wearing above. I know that it’s a tricky trend to pull off, so I’ve included some tips for you:
5 TIPS TO STYLE SOCKS WITH HEELS
1.) Look for Sheer Anklet Socks
Sheer anklets look more chic than school girl. Plus there are so many cute patterned choices with floral print, polka dots, and stripes as well as plain sheer ones if you’re not into patterns.
2.) Choose a Neutral Color
Neutral colors are a great way to try this trend if you are hesitant. Colors like nude, black, white and cream will add to your look without being too over the top.
3.) Match Your Shoe to Your Sock
In my opinion, this is the most chic way to wear sheer anklet socks. I have a nude polka dot paid that looks AMAZING with my nude pumps and I love the combo of a black heel with a patterned black sock.
4.) Choose the Correct Length
The anklet sock should end just above the ankle for a flattering look.
5.) Have Fun!
Once you are more comfortable, start experimenting with color! It can be a pop of color on a neutral color (such as colored polka dots on a white sock), a solid colored sock or styled with a colored shoe.
