Is the Smile Brilliant Custom Night Guard Worth It?

Years ago, I shared an honest review on Smile Brilliant’s custom whitening system. If you’ve been around for a while, you might remember this! I also enlisted the help of my husband to be a guinea pig along with me so that I could accurately assess the results. Both of us had an amazing experience with the entire process and ended up with fabulously white teeth! My husband, especially, was so happy with his results. One thing you may not know about me is that sometimes I grind my teeth when I’m sleeping – yikes! I had no idea about it until my husband said something. Originally, I got a random night guard to help but it was soooo uncomfortable that I ended up not using it. After having some recent dental work done (including the repair of my chipped front tooth), I felt that it was important to get a night guard to prevent further damage.

Luckily, Smile Brilliant also has custom night guard (and it’s MUCH more affordable than the one I was offered at the dentist)! Night guards offer protection from the effects of grinding and clenching teeth while we sleep. They also alleviate discomfort and damage done to the teeth and jaw over time. They use the same lab-direct process as they do for teeth whitening. Instructions are easy to follow and they also include extra material just in case. They use the impression to create a custom-fit night guard specifically for your teeth (just as a dentist would). It’s soft yet durable and doesn’t fall out.

The entire process was really simple. They had a lot of helpful info to ensure that the impressions were done just right. After sending in my impressions, I waited a couple of weeks for the shipping and creating of my custom night guard. Upon receiving, it was a perfect fit! I’ve been sleeping with ever since and while it was a bit strange the first night, it hasn’t affected my sleep in the slightest. It’s very comfortable and I feel much better knowing that my teeth are protected.

I really enjoyed trying these products and plan to incorporate them into my health routine on a more consistent basis. I also love that I found an amazing and affordable custom dental guard that is comfortable and durable.
