One aspect that I love about being a fashion blogger is discovering new brands. But not only discovering new brands… I love sharing my honest thoughts about them as well! Rihoas is a brand that I’ve been seeing all across social media, especially Instagram. Although I’m not typically a fast fashion kind of gal, I won’t lie – the designs are super cute, especially the dresses and the prices can’t be beat. Is Rihoas official worth it? Find out my honest thoughts below!
Is Rihoas Clothing Worth It?

Firstly, I’ve just got to say… I LOVE THIS DRESS! It’s so incredibly flattering. I truly feel beautiful in it <3
This Rihoas green floral dress is an absolute dream. With a deep emerald color, feminine floral print and elegant shape, what’s not to love? Plus it’s only $35, which is unheard of for something like this! I never, ever wear green but I might need to add more of this color into my wardrobe hehe! Now that that’s out of the way, let’s get into the pros and cons of Rihoas clothing.
I’ve only tried Rihoas dresses so that’s all that I can speak for at this time but the ones that I have are beautifully cut. They are incredibly flattering and fit my shape really well! This makes them an outlier of sorts because some budget friendly clothing brands can be cut really weird. However, I find myself reaching for Rihoas clothes quite often and I’ve gotten a ton of compliments, especially on this gorgeous green dress. It’s also very comfortable!
The clothing tends to lean on the feminine side, which I love because feminine clothing can be hard to find. The designs have a vintage retro look (some are even Parisian-inspired) and this is what initially drew me in. The designs are very, very pretty and I haven’t seen these styles many other places.
This is a very budget friendly brand which is great news for those that want or need stylish clothing on a budget. Many people are comparing Rihoas vs Shein and I have to say that Rihoas is just a bit better, in my opinion (I’m not a fan of Shein lol!). I would say that the quality is on par with Forever 21 and the price reflects this.
I have no experience with long term wear just yet but so far, they have held up. This green dress is unlined and a bit thin but it’s not sheer. The other dresses I’ve tried have been lined and not see-through in the slightest, which is amazing! On their website, they say that they use 20% sustainable fabrics in their clothing and that they include linen, cotton, viscose and high quality polyester. However, I do feel that this is definitely a case where you get what you pay for. You will not get the most incredible quality clothing at this price. It’s not awful but it’s also not Chanel so keep your expectations realistic lol.
As you can guess, the materials are not the best, which is a shame because the designs are beautiful! The dresses I have are fairly thin so they are lightweight – perfect for the summer season. Like I said, the quality and materials are in line with the price point, which I feel is fair for what you are getting. However, the designs and cuts are just SO beautiful!! It’s such a shame that these gorgeous dresses aren’t made with higher quality fabrics. I would definitely pay more in this case because there is nothing worse than finding a beautiful, flattering dress and wearing it into oblivion within a few months.
This was the main con when it came to the clothing itself. The sizing, in my experience, is all over the place! I got 6 dresses and went by the size chart. According to their size chart, I would have been a small or medium in these dresses (my normal size is small). Well, one of the mediums ended up being WAY too big and one of them ended up being WAY too small. The smalls that I got actually fit true to size. The green dress that I’m wearing here is actually a bit on the larger side. I’m not sure how dependable the Rihoas size chart is and this can certainly be very frustrating. If it were me, I would just stick with my normal size if you are unsure.
This is really the biggest con for me. Is Rihoas ethical? I really don’t know. It’s hard to say with these fast fashion brands and this is a big reason why I tend to stay away from them. As I’ve gotten older, I find myself gravitating toward high quality items that last for many years. I also favor brands that are sustainable and ethical. I haven’t seen much about Rihoas in this regard so it’s hard for me to make an informed decision.

How to Make a Rihoas Dress Look Expensive
With all of that being said, we all have different budgets and I am no stranger to budget friendly clothing brands. Over the years, I’ve picked up some tips to make inexpensive clothing look much more expensive and high end. The trick is really in the accessories! You don’t necessarily have to pair your clothing with a designer bag or anything but there are certain things to be on the look out for. Check out my best tips for looking expensive on a budget here!
For this outfit, I wanted to bring out the emerald and yellow in the flowers. I added a shimmering gold rhinestone belt to modernize it and add a bit of sparkle. To elevate it, I included a dreamy floral embroidered handbag in the same dark green hue. For footwear, I went with a streamlined and chic rhinestone sandal to mimic the belt. Lastly, I finished off this look with a simple pearl headband and pearl bracelet. The result is a very luxurious, chic and feminine outfit!
In short, is Rihoas legit? Yes, it’s a legit website and they do sell beautifully designed clothing. As with any brand, shop at your own discretion, especially when it comes to sizing.
