Is Radley London a good brand? My Honest Review

I was introduced to Radley London handbags years ago and I can’t believe I’m just now sharing a review! Since my introduction, my Radley London purse collection has grown to include a few of their iconic designs as well as some of their more quirky designs from their Valentine’s Day and Kentucky Derby collections. Who is Radley London?

Radley London is a handbag brand based in London. The brand was started in 1998 and features a Scottie dog as the mascot. Radley London’s designs are equally as whimsical, colorful, and unique as they are timeless, classic and elegant. They create a variety of handbags, wallets and totes and even have other accessories like footwear, jewelry and travel accessories (all with a whimsical British flair!).

Is Radley London real leather?

Yes, they use real leather in their designs. Radley has proudly been working with some of their partners as long as three generations! And some handbags require as many as 20 artisans to perfectly craft it. You can really feel the love that goes into each design, which makes sense since they usually take upwards of a year from concept to construction! All materials are of the highest quality – whether it’s the leather used to create their iconic handbags or the threads and zippers used to hold it together.

Is Radley London a luxury brand?

Is Radley London designer? Radley was affectionately described to me at the “Kate Spade” of the UK and I find this to be completely accurate! While they have a ton of adorable, quirky and colorful designs, they also have very chic, elevated and sophisticated handbags as well. I do feel that they are a designer handbag and accessories brand, especially in terms of quality.

They are very well-known for their luxurious, high-quality and durable designs and to me, this is what makes a great designer handbag brand! You might surprised to find that although they are considered luxury, their pricing is quite affordable for a handbag of this caliber. Radley London purses prices are under $390 with most being in the $100- 250 range (but of course, you can also shop from the Radley London outlet or wait for a Radley London handbag sale).

Radley London Bag Review

I’ve always been a lover of British style! Some of my favorite brands that I’ve discovered through starting this blog have actually been UK-based. I also drive a Mini Cooper so that should tell you something about my style preferences haha! In this post, I’m sharing two of their Valentine’s Day styles but truthfully, this review can be said for each of the handbags I own.

Radley London Hanley Close

The color is what immediately drew me to the Hanley Close. It has lovely pink-lilac tone that matches well with so much yet makes a statement all on it’s own. This mini flapover crossbody includes light gold-toned hardware, a matching key fob and of course, a lovely pink dust bag. It also comes in a variety of colors and sizes!

This is a dainty bag that fits just the essentials – a phone, keys, lipgloss and card holder. Truthfully, I tend to gravitate toward more petite bags as I’m more of a petite gal 😉 I think they fit my body better but honestly, I don’t tend to bring a lot of extras with me as it is so this is the perfect companion for day to day.

Radley London LOVE Bag

This is the truly one of the cutest bags I’ve ever seen! When I posted it on Instagram, my followers went WILD. It includes two tone leather with a beautiful magenta and red mix (perfect for V-Day!). Inscribed on the bag is “Love” in playful lettering. I know that this is a Valentine’s Day bag but I can’t help but this of The Beatles “Love” show when I look at it lol (and how fitting since they are both UK icons!).

The interior includes three pockets (one zippered) and lots of space for essentials. This small ziptop satchel also comes with a crossbody strap, dust bag and the most adorable key fob featuring a “Love Token” design. The back includes two adorable Scottie dogs with a heart *swoon!*

Is Radley London a good brand?

Is Radley London worth it? Absolutely! I feel like you really can’t beat the quality for the price. My oldest Radley London wallet and handbags are at least a few years old and they still look brand new. Plus the designs are just too cute! I just adore the Scottie dog and the Kentucky Derby designs but I love the more simplified bags as well. If you are looking for an old money aesthetic, they have a lot of options for the quiet luxury style.
