I hope you enjoyed your weekend! I actually got food poisoning so I spent most of my time catching up on sleep lol! I’m feeling so much better now and am so excited that there is only one more week until Christmas – YAY!

So last Thursday, I had the opportunity to represent Michael Todd Beauty at the Riley Rose store in the Glendale Galleria. This was not only the first event I’ve hosted, but also the only event I’ve ever been able to attend as I normally work during the week. It was so much fun learning about the new Michael Todd products and seeing this incredible store in person. It is seriously a real life Barbie dream house!

Riley Rose Store

I was welcomed into this pretty pink paradise that is Riley Rose by an explosion of bright-colored candy, girly home decor and the best beauty products! From the pink selfie wall and hanging glittery bulbs to the beauty bar and tutorial-filled tablets, this store definitely did not disappoint. I had no idea what to expect when I got there, but was pleasantly surprised by how much they had to offer.

Candy of every assortment welcomes you as you enter through the gorgeous pink doors. There is bathtub full of colorful bath bombs (some shaped like various sweet treats) and stunning pink vanities lit up just waiting for you to experiment with the latest make-up trends. There is a pink selfie wall for those of us that need to Instagram everything 😉 There are sections for home decor, spa goods, hair products and the latest beauty items ranging in price.

My absolute favorite feature of the store is the beauty bar. It’s lined with light grey stools, granite counter tops, gold ring lit mirrors, tutorial-ready tablets and products just waiting to be tested. I have never seen anything like this in my life and I only wish that I lived closer (or maybe not because my money would disappear haha!)

Michael Todd Beauty Review

Even though the Riley Rose store carries a lot of items, the Michael Todd Beauty tools have to be my favorite! I was introduced to the Sonicblend make-up brush back in July and haven’t looked back! I used to apply my foundation with my…*gasp*…fingers! Then I graduated to a beauty blender and then came along the Sonicblend. It is seriously a life-changer. I get SO many compliments on how smooth my makeup application is and how “perfect” my complexion is. The secret is that my complexion is far from perfect (I struggle with acne) but this brush does a great job of concealing it. I use it for my foundation as well as blending my contour and blush. One of these days, when I get around to starting my YouTube channel, I will share a tutorial with you all 😉 Until then, if you are ever in the Los Angeles area, make sure to stop into this candy-colored wonderland. You’ll thank me later <3

Overall I had such a fun time exploring the Riley Rose store and can’t wait to go back. I also appreciate all of you that stopped by to say hi and this of you that sent sweet DM’s wishing you could make it. Your support means so much!
