Yay! It’s finally Friday!
This week has been absolutely insane and I am so glad to have a couple days off to relax. 😉 Anyway, I’ve been really into pastels for winter (or any season, really) as is evident from this post and this post. I think it’s a breathe of fresh air and such a nice change from the usual darker hues of the season. Today I’m showing you my absolute favorite winter color combo: blush and blue.
Coat (also seen in this post – on sale for under $65! – also available in blue as seen in this post) | Sweater c/o (on sale for $25!) | Skirt (old – love this, this and this – all under $30!) | Heels (on sale for under $30!) | Handbag (50% o ff and almost sold out!)| Necklace
I started seeing little hints of light blue pop up late year in various garments and I have to say, I was smitten. It’s such a beautiful hue that matches well with so many other colors and that’s exactly what sold me on this sweater. The color is just stunning! And yes, I did really enjoy the ruffle detailing too haha! It doesn’t look like it but it’s actually a looser fit thick knit (and it looks incredible with jeans). Since larger fits can overwhelm my frame easily, I cinched in the waist with a midi skirt to create some shape. This skirt is an oldie but goodie from …..Piperlime. Can you believe it?! It’s such a sad reminder of what used to be. *sigh* I paired with these gorgeous pink lace up heels that I just can’t get enough of and the prettiest embellished handbag. I topped it off with this lovely blush coat…you know, the one you guys absolutely LOVE? I also styled it in this post originally and can’t tell you how many DMs and messages I’ve gotten about it (and the blue one – which I styled in this post)! Anddd they are both on major sale.
Anyway, I’m going to keep today’s post short and sweet 🙂 Tomorrow, I’m overhauling my office/closet and I need some beauty sleep haha! It looks like an episode of hoarders – not joking HAHA.
