Purple Pencil Skirt Outfit
Happy Friday friends!
I don’t know about you, but I have never been comfortable in tighter clothing. Partially because I’ve always been a little uncomfortable with my body shape. I am very short at 4’11” and although I’m a small size, I definitely have some curves. My hips have never been my friends. Since my waist is a sizes smaller than my hips, they make finding jeans a nightmare and wearing pencil skirts nearly impossible. If something fit my hips, the waist was always gaping and tailoring every article of clothing isn’t always an option. I never really liked the whole stretchy skirt thing either because usually the fabric was thin and showed more than I wanted. This skirt is from my boutique and I was very leery of trying it on because I thought it would exaggerate my hips and make me look shorter than I already am. I was so surprised at how well it fit and great it looked. The material is thicker so I felt a lot more comfortable. I really felt beautiful…and isn’t that how clothing is supposed to make you feel?
This Purple Pencil Skirt Outfit is one that I hand picked at the warehouse back in July. I just love the colors and the cute tulip pattern! Since it’s tighter fitter, I paired it with a loose, crotchet crop top. A fun necklace adorned the neckline and my favorite sparkly clutch made another appearance to complete the outfit. I’m so glad that I stepped out of my comfort zone to try out a new style. I will definitely be wearing more of these!

Another Friday, another link-up! Today I am sharing….
You all know by now that I’m a sucker for a good floral print dress. This one is so beautiful! I can just imagine it with boots and a sweater for Fall. Actually I can imagine it for any season! And I just adore the sunnies she paired with it.
