This girly monochrome pink outfit is a spring dream if I ever saw one! The pink, the tulle, the crochet… it really is something. And then you add pearls and poofy details to create the most quintessentially ultra feminine outfit ever! *swoon* This is seriously something that I wouldn’t mind wearing everyday 😉
I’ve been a lover of monochrome outfits for such a long time. It’s an easy and quick way to look effortlessly chic and put together. When I saw this skirt, it was love at first sight and it was definitely the starting point for this outfit. Many times when I’m styling an outfit, I’m inspired by one statement piece and I build around it. While this skirt could be styled SO many different ways (I’ve already made a million outfits from it), I opted for similar tones throughout.
This tulle skirt is unlike any in my wardrobe and let me tell you, I have quite the collection! It’s soft, delicate and has the most beautiful vertical ruffles, a unique detail that I’ve only seen with this garment. Pairing it with this crochet top only accentuated the gorgeous pink color even more! The slightly higher neckline and puff sleeves give the look a bit of a cottagecore vibe while pairing it with the skirt catapults the look entirely into princess territory.
These velvet pom pom heels ended up being the perfect match in terms of color and style! Most think that velvet is only reserved for fall and winter but I personally think these are perfectly pretty for spring as well! In true Lizzie fashion, I donned pearls in the form of a stunning hair clip and clutch to finish off the this girly pink outfit. Overall, there are a lot of details and textures in this outfit. However, the color palette is minimal and the shape as a whole is very feminine and simple so it works!
