When I started this blog 8 years ago, I shied away from maxi dresses because I thought that I was too short to wear them. Every time I found one I liked, it would drown me in length (sometimes by up to 18 inches!). Until one day… I found one that worked and my outlook on maxi dresses changed forever. It’s now one of my go-to styles for everyday!
I don’t talk about my height on here much but I’m not just any version of petite… I’m under 5 ft (4’11” to be exact lol!). I get many comments proclaiming that I look much taller but I assure you that I’m not haha. With that being said, finding a petite maxi dress that fits off the rack is usually a thing of fairytales. And over the years, I’ve tried enough brands to know which ones work and which ones don’t.
