Pink Rose Print Skirt Outfit
Happy Friday! Here’s to another weekend! (A very special one for me because it’s my wedding anniversary.)
When I first got this skirt, it was looonnngg….like, to my ankles long. It was not a midi skirt at all, at least not by my standards. It sat around for a long while before I decided to finally get it altered. What a difference! I feel so happy to be able to wear this skirt now and have paired it with many things since I took the jump. 🙂
Of course, I am a big lover of print mixing…but not just prints, colors too! (I stretch the limits haha.) I love the way blue and pink look together for this so I choose this super cute button up. While both prints are a bit on the larger side, I feel that it works because the two pieces share a cream based colored that helps them blend together. Also, the polka dot print is very precise and clean while the floral print is a bit more crazy and untamed. I feel that even though both prints are on a large scale, by mixing the wild one with a more tame print anchors the look. When I mix prints and colors, I try to keep my accessories a bit more neutral so the garments can stand out. (Of course, sometimes I break the rules.) Shoes, while texturized and patterned, are kept neutral. Jewelry accents the outfit with hints of gold and cream. Overall, I am completely infatuated with this Pink Rose Print Skirt Outfit

On to more important business. It’s link-up day! Welcome. 🙂 So many great looks and I finally narrowed it down to..
These girls are on a roll with their outfits! This look from Kacie is so fun and festive for a work outfit. I adore the color of the blazer, especially with the turquoise clutch! The lace top adds just the right amount of texture and those shoes…well, they are perfect in every way. 🙂
