As a lover of Parisian fashion, I use it for inspiration in my own outfits quite often. Pink and black are a classically Parisian color palette. Why is this? I’m not sure but I’m here for it! This has always been one of my favorite color combos, even when I shied away from black for many years. Thank goodness those days are over lol! It’s chic, elegant and incredibly ladylike with a feminine flair and romantic essence. Paris is the city of love, after all!
This blouse was actually my inspiration for the entire outfit. The color is the most perfect shade of pink with just a hint of sparkle. It also includes gorgeous pearl buttons, a vintage inspired peter pan collar (my fave!) and most notably, a black organza bow. I styled it with a midi skirt that is just a shade darker. This skirt is fairly simple in design but I do love the tulle peeking out from underneath!
For accessories, I added a simple pair of black suede heels along with a dreamy velvet handbag embellished with pearls. I just love the contrast between the black and pink! And of course, I added a matching headband because… headbands are my jam hehe.
I think this outfit is perfect for an everyday workwear look. It’s smart, feminine and has just a bit of French flair!
