Sometimes I think I was born in the wrong era. I’ve always been drawn to the vintage styles of the 1920s through 1960s but there’s just something about the golden age of Hollywood. From the dreamy details to the feminine silhouettes, you can never go wrong with some old Hollywood glam outfit inspo.

If there was ever a dress that channeled old Hollywood royalty, this would be it! Stunning doesn’t even begin to describe it. When I saw it online, I thought it was really pretty but when I put it on…. WOW. I felt transformed into a silver screen siren with shimmering sequins cascading from head to toe. I don’t typically go for dresses that are snug on the hips but I have to say that I have never felt more beautiful. This is the dress of dreams, that’s for sure!
There are so many elements that make this old Hollywood glam dress incredible but it doesn’t feel over the top. It has flowy tulle flutter sleeves, a darling sweetheart neckline, a slightly open back and the most gorgeous embellished florals perfectly placed along the sides to enhance and flatter. Since the dress is already so mesmerizing on it’s own, I opted for nude heels and minimal jewelry – a single sparkly ring. For accessories, I added in some unexpected textures including a pearl headband and a white faux feather clutch. I just love how the delicate feathers look against the sequins – truly a match made in heaven!
Whether it’s a dreamy wedding or a holiday party, this old Hollywood glam dress is sure to turn heads. I’m already counting down the days until the holiday season lol! Until then, I’ll come up with every possible excuse to wear this beauty <3
