Happy Friday, loves!
I hope you’re all having an amazing week! I have been SOOOO sick since last Thursday and I’m just now starting to feel better (although I do still have a nasty cough). I haven’t been sick in years and this time it really took a toll on my body. I think it may have been a good thing though because I tend to just go-go-go. Since I was pretty much quarantined to our apartment, I spent all my free time doing things I normally don’t have time for like reading my magazines, napping and planning for the future of the blog 🙂 I’ve been wanting to make some changes for quite some time so I’m excited to start implementing those in the coming months.
Anyway, I’m so excited for share my NYFW recap with you today! Read on to see what I did on day three!

Shein Sample Sale
The roomies and I started the day off with a trip to SoHo for the Shein sample sale. Once the doors opened, hoards of shoppers ran straight toward the racks and started pulling clothing off by the armfuls. It was like straight out of a movie haha! As I reached for the only top I was interested in, some girl snatched it so I ended up with a pair of sunglasses instead, which was perfectly fine for me and my wallet 😉
Nonie
Meghan Markle was recently seen wearing one of Nonie’s dresses so I was very excited to see her designs in person! I love the chic, classic shapes and minimalist feel of the collection.
Tibi Backstage
Going backstage for Tibi with Aveda was my highlight from last year and this year surpassed it even more. Not only did I get to see the designs up close and get a first hand look at the models getting their hair and makeup done for the show, but I got to watch the entire show from backstage. It was almost magical seeing the designs walk out from backstage and onto the big screen from the runway.
VIP Party at 50 Bowery
In between shows, I got to catch up with some blogger friends (and make some new ones!) at 50 Bowery. Of course, there were plenty of photo opps, food and great conversation.
Fun Fact: This is where I took the first outfit photo. It was POURING rain allllll day and I had a pretty full day running around by the time that photo was taken. We found this gorgeous arch across from the event and my friend Lee and I ran across the street while it was raining to capture some photos three minutes before our uber was supposed to arrive. My shoes were soaked from stepping in a puddle and my hair was all over the place lol. The things we do for Instagram haha!
We ended up reshooting the outfit a couple of hours before leaving for the airport (and right before it started raining again). I couldn’t decide on whether to wear the bow or the beret so I wore both 🙂 Which one do you like better? And seriously how gorgeous is this Mary Frances handbag ? *swoon*
Ruby Fang
Ruby Fang was one of my favorite shows from the week! I was awe of the intricate embellishments on each item. Each piece truly was like a work of art and the way the lights hit the embellishments as they walked down the runway was unreal!
Bond45
After a full day, it was nice to hang out with the roomies over an amazing Italian dinner. The staff at Bond45 was incredibly hospitable and brought out five courses of the most incredible food! I only wish I had a bottomless stomach so I could eat it all ha!
Day three was a blast (minus the rain haha)! Do you have any fun plans for the weekend?
