Why You Need This Floral Dress for Spring

Happy Thursday, pretties!

I know I don’t typically post on Thursdays, but I’m hosting a link up with some amazing bloggers today! I’m still posting mine tomorrow so feel free to join both <3 I hope you all had the best Valentine’s Day! We usually celebrate the weekend after because it gets so crazy around here lol! I can’t wait 😀 Anyway, today I’m talking about why you need this gorgeous floral dress for spring. It gives me all the hearts eyes!

If I told you that my favorite season was spring, I bet that wouldn’t surprise you one bit 😉 I’m a spring baby after all (technically) and just can’t get enough of the crisp, cool air, blooming florals and abundance of sunshine. Even though I don’t dress like it, I’m a California girl through and through. Sunshine is my kryptonite and there is nothing I love more than a gorgeous spring day. I am one of those people that HAS to have sunlight pouring in through the windows at all times, which is funny because my husband is quite the opposite. I’m always opening the blinds and windows and he’s always closing them to create his cave-like atmosphere haha! And still, there is just one thing I love more….flowers! Flowers on the trees, in the garden, on my patio, in my apartment and on my dresses. I just can’t get enough! And the sad thing is is that I have the WORST allergies ever! I actually have to take medication everyday to control them but when the seasons change, sometimes it just doesn’t work so I’m left sniffling inside gazing at these pretties from afar. Oh the irony!

My floral print dresses, however, never fail me. I probably own more than one person should (haha!), but I just love how happy these prints make me feel! It’s pretty easy to see how this dress caught my eye: the colors are so stunning and the embroidery is to die for. It’s actually a flattering sleeveless fit and flare but since it’s still pretty chilly outside, I paired it with this light weight blazer style jacket. The color is so cute and it’s super-polished, making it a great piece to add to your workwear collection. I can also see it with a cute pair of black cigarette pants and a white pussy bow blouse or a pair of light blue jeans and a slouchy tee. I added some pattern mixing in with this adorable striped bow clutch. And these shoes are already becoming a favorite of mine! I am obsessed with pearl embellished anything and can see these going with so many of my warm weather outfits.

Are you a fan of floral print?

See you all tomorrow <3
