feminine monochromatic blue outfit idea for fall

Happy Friday, pretties!

As you can tell, I’ve been a bit absent from the blog this week because…

I finally migrated my blog and went through with the re-design! YAY! I am SO over the moon about this. I have been dreaming of this day for a really long time and I’m so happy that I finally pulled the trigger. I was terrified to learn a new platform, but I’ve gotten acquainted with it over the past few days and I can’t believe that I have been living without it for so long! It’s definitely different than what I’m used to, but I am excited to learn more. There are a few different reasons that I decided to switch from Blogger to WordPress, but the main reason is that I was not able to customize my blog the way I wanted it to look. Blogger, while a great platform to start off with, is VERY limited when it comes to design and I felt that I could not achieve the look I wanted on that platform. Another big reason I decided to make the move was because I did not technically own my blog on Blogger. I can now finally say that I OWN my blog and can tweak it however I wish. It was so much less painless than I thought it would be!

While I originally wanted to do it all on my own, I decided that this was best left up to a professional. I talked to SO many different designers and looked at a million websites, but never quite found the right fit for my price point. A ton of blogger friends recommended Phil from Pipdig so I trusted my gut and went with it. I wasn’t planning to make the move until after the New Year but they had a great sale on migration and themes during Black Friday, so here we are haha! ๐Ÿ™‚ The migration was very quick (only a couple of days) and Phil was very responsive to all of my questions. If any of you are looking to set up a website in the future, I highly recommend him!

I still have few things to update and change over the next week or so until I get it looking the way I want, but feel free to browse around and get acquainted ๐Ÿ˜‰ With the new design comes new changes. I have a list of things that I have been wanting to do for the past year, but never really had time to do them. I realized that sometimes you just have to do it anyway because life never gets any less busy. Starting in the New Year, I am going to start a handful of really exciting series! These series will include fashion and beauty, of course, but will also introduce other topics such as the highly requested motivational posts, inspirational posts that celebrate other women in business and the introduction of video content among other things. It will take roughly a month before I am able to implement any content changes, but I am so excited for what is to come and I hope you are as well. If you have any questions or requests for a future post, please feel free to let me know!

Thank you all so much for being the most encouraging and supportive readers ever!

You all are truly the best <3

This dress is so pretty for fall! I love the gorgeous colors and velvet fabric.
I absolutely love this combo! The pop of red really brings out the florals on this dress.
