I’ve been a vintage collector since I was young. I’ve always been drawn to the unique designs, intricate details, and the magical stories each piece held and this is something that heavily inspired my feminine style. I was highly influenced by my great grandmother who owned an antique store in the small town I grew up in. I always looked forward to helping her in the shop and of course, rummaging through her personal collection of stunning jewelry, gorgeous handbags and glamorous clothing of decades past. This gave me an appreciation for vintage items and their history and today I’m sharing some of my favorite heirlooms and pieces from my glamorous vintage collection with you!
This has been highly requested for a long time and while I’ve shared glimpses of my collection through my flat lay and product photos, I never quite told the story behind each piece. By far, the most popular request I get is regarding my vanity set (you know the one!). I get messages, comments and DMs about it every single time I post and I loved it so much that I recently bought a second set (the one pictured above). I’ve never seen anything quite like it. It truly is fit for a princess!
A few of the most treasured items in my collection are heirlooms from my great-grandmother. These include both pearl necklaces above (the snake one is vintage Givenchy) and the adorable enamel bow necklace. Both pairs of earrings are vintage Chanel that I sourced myself. The perfume bottle was also a recent find and let me tell you, it is a showstopper! Other items to note are the vintage compact (also seen in my flat lays) and the 1940s Cosmo magazine – both were gifted from my mom (the magazine was a birthday gift).
My glamorous vintage collection mainly includes items from the 1920-60s but the entire collection spans over a century with the earliest item dating back to the mid-late 1800s and the latter from the 1990s. This portion of my collection includes a variety of feminine fashion, beauty items, jewelry, magazines, glassware and more that were heirlooms from my great-grandmother, gifted from my mom, gifted from friends/colleagues or sourced myself.

Also, unrelated but for all of my regular readers – should I keep posting my videos on Fridays? Or would you like me to keep posting the fashion looks on Fridays and post my video on Mondays? Let me know if you have a preference! I’m still getting the hang of this lol! 😀
