You all know about my love for pretty dresses but shoes are high up on my love list too (I mean, what girl can resist?). My shoe choices tend be classic in design but with a twist on color, prints and decorative embellishments. I fancy embellishments, ruffles, sparkle, florals, bows and lots and lots of pink. You’ll even find that my love of vintage comes through in some of my shoe choices. This is the very first time I’ve ever shared my girly shoe collection but I am SO excited to show you all the fabulous footwear that make my outfits pop. 🙂 Read on to see some of my favorite shoes that I’ve collected over the years (and if you’re anything like me, then you’re going to love this post)!

Marilyn Monroe said it best when she said “Give a girl the right pair of shoes and she’ll conquer the world.” As we all know, shoes can make or break an outfit and while they’re meant to be functional, I can’t help but love the artistry of a beautiful design. Shoes can say a lot about a person and these days, many not only use them to accessorize their favorite outfit but instead choose to display them proudly as art.
As you know shoe choices are quite personal so you’ll find that mine are reflective of my prominent delicate and feminine style. When looking for shoes, I look for the same things that I look for in my clothing – feminine details, unique designs and something that makes it stand out whether that’s color, pattern, or decorative elements. The best part is that all of these are very wearable! I love a good pair of flats for practical reasons and being the petite gal I am, I’m particularly drawn to heels to give me that quick height boost. For the blog, I do typically wear more of my heels just because they make me look taller and elongate my legs a bit but for everyday, I love my flats (or a block heel or espadrille). And for heels, I’ll usually stick to 3 inches and below so I can be both comfortable and stylish 😉
Something you might be surprised by is that I actually don’t shop for shoes very often. I’m quite picky when it comes to my footwear and what goes into my collection. Before purchasing, I think about practicality, cost, design, comfortability and how well they would go with my outfits. This is why you see a lot of variations of the same colors – lots of nude, cream, and pink tones! I usually only shop if I’m in need of a basic or if I happen to stumble upon something I can’t live without! And most of these shoes I’ve had for years and years! I take really great care of them 🙂
Here are a few that are still available –
