My Feminine Christmas Decor & King of Christmas Review

Elizabeth Hugen of Lizzie in Lace shares her feminine christmas tree

Christmas is my absolute favorite time of the year! My radio has been permanently stuck playing festive tunes since November 1st, hot cocoa and baked goods are overtaking my kitchen and holiday movies are playing on repeat. I just LOVE it! And now that we’re less than two weeks away, I thought it was the perfect time to show you my feminine Christmas decor! Hope you love it <3

MY FEMININE CHRISTMAS DECOR

In the past, we’ve been pretty modest with our Christmas decor since we live in a small space but this year, I really wanted to take it up a notch and make it feel a bit more festive! This was our first year with a flocked tree and I have to say, that I absolutely love it! I will be honest though – it did leave a bit of a mess when we put it up but it really wasn’t that big of a deal and it’s just sooooo pretty! Although I initially wanted to go a bit larger, I’m so glad we decided on the 7.5 ft tree because it’s the perfect size for our space. I was really impressed with how well made the tree was and how full the branches were (we’ve had a fake tree in the past and it wasn’t nearly as full-looking!). This is also the pre-lit version with 800 warm LED lights. It was SO nice not having to string lights on the tree and I love that it has different settings as well as a dimmer (I do wish it had a “twinkle” setting though!).

We also got the pink and purple ornament set to decorate the tree. Previously, we’ve had decorations in red and blue, but these have to be my very favorite (my husband loves them too)! The set includes an array of stunning ornaments in various purple hues and rose gold tones – they are very regal looking! One of our traditions is to include personal ornaments that have a special meaning tied to them and at first, I wasn’t so sure if they’d go with the purple but once we put them up, they meshed perfectly together! A perfect match ๐Ÿ˜‰

This was also the first year that I decorated our bedroom! I hung a flocked wreath above our bed and put two flocked tabletop trees on each of our nightstands. I went back and forth as to whether or not I was going to decorate them and ultimately decided that I liked them as is. I think it gives off a sort of rustic charm and the simpleness of the decor doesn’t overwhelm, but instead adds to our space. This is definitely something I will be implementing going forward because it creates a sort of flow from one room to another and it adds that festive vibe that I love so much ๐Ÿ™‚

This was also my first experience with King of Christmas! I had no idea what to expect but I am so impressed with the quality of everything!! They really do make such beautiful items and I can see all of these lasting for years and years. Customer service was sooo friendly and always willing to help answer any questions I had about specific items. Plus they threw in that adorable donut ornament – how sweet is that? I’d highly recommend them… in fact already planning out my decor for next year haha!

I hope you loved a peek at feminine Christmas decor!

What colors did you use to decorate your tree this year?
