My Favorite Fall Maxi Dress for Boho Style

This weekend was actually my husband’s Christmas party for work and I just love any occasion to dress up so of course, I accompanied him. I wore a gorgeous grey sequined Zara top that I picked up while in New York for fashion week and paired it with a burgundy tulle skirt. I styled it with grey velvet heels, a jeweled clutch and a white coat with a faux fur collar. I wish I would have gotten photos, but you know…daylight savings time so it was pitch black outside lol. We stayed at the party for a while chatting with various co-workers of my husband’s and eating the most decadent dessert. Even though food was available, it wasn’t really our cup of tea so we decided to hit up our favorite Italian place for dinner afterward and it was AMAZING as always. I’m one of those people that orders the same meal every time they go to a restaurant…but seriously, I can’t help it if they have incredible tortellini 😉
Anyway, while it’s snowing in many parts of the country currently, the weather in California has been slightly warmer as of late. I’ve either been bundled up in my warmest coat (because once it hits 50 degrees, it’s FREEZING haha!) or twirling around in my prettiest fall maxi dress. I actually wore this dress for Thanksgiving this year and it was a hit! I had been lusting after it forever since I discovered it on Instagram (because that’s how we all shop now-a-days lol!). You can imagine my surprise and delight when I found it for a fraction of the price recently. It wasn’t even Black Friday! You better believe I put that thing in my cart so fast haha! Not only is the print and color completely stunning but the ruffles cascading down chest, sleeves and slit are incredibly unique and feminine. I paired it with my favorite off-white ankle boots, a blush cross body and dainty rose gold jewels to finish off the look. Definitely one of my favorite maxis!
