Good morning upper east siders…
It’s been an interesting week to say the least and I’m gearing up for an incredibly busy (but fun) weekend! Today, I’m talking about this season’s most feminine blazer and my love affair with Gossip Girl.

Feminine Blazer inspiration from Gossip Girl
Would you believe me if I told you that the first time I ever watched Gossip Girl was three years ago….eight years after it came out?! I have no idea what took so long, but I finally caved and it was worth the wait. I’ve since watched it two more times, loving each time more than the last. Other than the story line, what really stood out to me was the fashion (obviously). I’ve always identified more with Blair when it comes to fashion choices. She is bold, colorful, and unapologetically feminine. So you can imagine my excitement when I found this chic, Blair-esque blazer to add to my spring wardrobe. The bouclé has the faintest hint of shimmer that is both elegant and understated and includes the the most sophisticated, silky bow tie. This feminine blazer is such a dream and instantly elevates any look!
I also just signed up for Rent the Runway and this swingy pink dress was one of my picks. I’ve never used this service before so I’m pretty excited to try it out! I’ll update you guys in a few months 😉 Anyway, this dress is probably my absolute favorite from this month’s selections and I knew instantly that it would look perfect with this feminine blazer. I love the soft touch of color that it adds without being too overwhelming. I added a bit of sparkle with a headband, bracelet and brooch and finished it off with blush pink bow heels and a pearl embellished bag. At first, I wasn’t too sure about all the pink accessories but my husband urged me to try it out and I have to say he’s right. I’m loving it 😉 Probably one of my favorite outfits of all time!
Fun Fact: After I style my outfits, I always let my husband help me pick out accessories. I must admit, he’s quite stylish haha!
Are you a fan of feminine blazers?
