Over the years, I’ve tried many different makeup and beauty brands but some stand out amongst the rest. Whether it’s the pretty packaging, array of colors, innovation of new products or simply, an amazing formula, these luxury beauty products brands are doing something I love. But as with any luxury product, some of you may be wondering – are luxury beauty products worth it?
In this post, I dive into four different brands (some are old favorites and some are new additions). I’ll be sharing my honest thoughts along with recommendations. Whether you’re looking to upgrade your makeup game or trying to find a gift for someone special, this post is perfect for all of my beauty lovers. Let’s get into it!

Dreamy Luxury Beauty Products Worth The Splurge
YSL Beauty
YSL Candy Glaze Lip Gloss Stick
The YSL Beauty Candy Glaze Lip Gloss Stick is a hydrating and moisturizing lipgloss stick with a high shine finish. This YSL Beauty lipstick is glossy and non-sticky making it perfect for everyday wear! It also leaves behind smoother, fuller-looking lips for an ultra kissable look. I got the color 02, which is clear with a light pink hue. It’s definitely my fave luxury beauty product for off duty days!
YSL Loveshine Lip Oil Stick
The YSL Beauty Loveshine Lip Oil Stick is a hydrating and long-wearing lipstick with a high shine finish. This YSL beauty lipstick includes 6 nourishing oils and glides on beautifully to reveal the perfect amount of color! This luxurious and radiant lipstick is also very buildable so you can create a look that works for you. I got the color 208 Raspberry Shine, which is a stunning bright pink color (perfect for summer). The packaging on both YSL lipsticks is absolutely stunning!!
YSL All Hours 24H Hyper Sunkissed Glow Bronzer
The YSL Beauty All Hours 24H Hyper Sunkissed Glow Bronzer is a long-wearing pressed powder bronzer with a silky, natural finish. It’s also fragrance free and non-comedogenic. This YSL Beauty bronzer is blurring and easily blendable for a natural and effortless sun-kissed look. The packaging itself is next level gorgeous and oh so luxurious! This is definitely one of the best bronzers I’ve ever used as well!
YSL Touche Éclat Awakening Concealer Click Pen
The YSL Beauty Touche Éclat Awakening Concealer Click Pen is a hydrating and brightening concealer with a light coverage and radiant finish. This creamy liquid formula is easy to apply and doesn’t crease throughout the day (in my experience). The YSL Beauty Touche Eclat concealer gives you 8 hours of beauty sleep in just a single swipe. This is one of their most iconic products and one that I’ve been using for years!

YSL Beauty is one of my favorite luxury beauty brands that I’ve been using for a decade!! These are favorites from my makeup collection:
- YSL Lash Clash Extreme Volume Mascara – I use this when I want my lashes to go va-va-voom haha!
- YSL Touche Eclat Blur Face Primer – This is the absolute BEST primer I’ve ever used and it lasts forever!
- YSL Rouge Pur Couture Caring Satin Lipstick – Absolutely adore all of their lipsticks in every form including this one!
- YSL Mon Paris Eau de Parfum – This is one of my signature fragrances (it smells so fruity and delicious)!
Valentino Beauty
Valentino Spike Valentino Buttery Matte Lipstick
The Valentino Spike Valentino Buttery Matte Lipstick is a hydrating and long-wearing lipstick with a matte finish. It comes in a variety of stunning colors including the one shown here – 134R Couture In The Streets, a lovely rosy beige nude. This Valentino Beauty lipstick glides on so nicely and is pigmented really well. The packaging is also so beautiful and this is truly one of the most luxurious lipsticks I own!
The only drawback is that this Valentino lipstick is quite dainty, which means it’s easy to throw in your purse bu there isn’t a ton of product included. That said, this is my first time trying Valentino Beauty and so far it’s been a great experience! Their makeup is super pretty so I hope to try out more of their collection in the future.
Lancôme
Lancôme Génifique Ultimate Recovery Serum
The Lancôme Génifique Ultimate Recovery Serum is a skincare serum that helps reverse signs of aging. It targets uneven skin tone, pore, fine lines, smoothness, softness and radiance. You can actually see a difference after just one use but the benefits really start to show after one week, which is incredible! I’ve tried several products from the Lancome Genique line and I have to say, they are all amazing and so worth it!! Lancome skincare is the absolutely best! Highly recommend!
Lancôme Lash Idôle Flutter Extension Lengthening Mascara
The Lancôme Lash Idôle Flutter Extension Lengthening Mascara is a mascara that lengthens lashes for a natural and flirty look. The formula has a weightless feel and includes a wax-in-water emulsion that elongates lashes for up to 24 hours! In my opinion, the Lancome Idole flutter extension is a great everyday mascara. I also adore the original Lancome Idole mascara! It’s one of my very favorites (love Monsieur Big too! Actually… I love ALL Lancome Mascaras haha!).

- Lancome Idole Perfume – A classic, ultra feminine fragrance with signature scent potential!
- Lancome La Vie est Belle – Another fave and a best-seller for a reason!
- Lancome Cils Booster XL – A Must-have for lashes! I always put it on before my mascara!
- Lancome Lipsticks – Literally any of them!! They are one of my favorite luxury brands for lipsticks!
- Lancome Juicy Tubes – An early 2000s fave! I love wearing this for everyday (and even overnight!).

Millefee Makeup
Millefee Antoinette Melting Rouge Lipstick
The Millefee Antoinette Melting Rouge Lipstick is an ultra glossy and moisturizing lipstick. The packaging is so pretty with the pink color and cameo detail (perfect for my coquette girlies!) and I just adore the dainty sheer coverage for daily wear. This Millefee lipstick collection includes six beautiful light colors with a mix of warm and cool tones –
- 01 Vanilla Latte (light nude)
- 02 Maroon Rose (soft plum)
- 03 Sugar Petal (milky pink)
- 04 Peach Ruban (peachy-pink)

Millefee Antoinette Perle Face Powder
The Millefee Antoinette Perle Face Powder is a darling loose powder in the shape of hearts and circles. Like the Millefee lipsticks, the packaging is ultra girly with a pink vintage-inspired tin. This Millefee loose powder comes in two beautiful shades –
- 01 Pink Chateau (warm-toned)
- 02 Purple Reine (cool-toned)
Pink Chateau has a semi-matte finish and soft, gentle aura making it perfect for the forehead and nose. Purple Reine has a slight glossy effect and translucent finish making it ideal for the chin and cheekbones. Both colors are great for the cheeks as they help control excess sebum and even out skin tone.
Millefee makeup is actually a newer luxury brand to me but I adore the products so far and look forward to trying more from their collection in the future!

So the big question is – are these luxury beauty brands worth it? In my opinion, YES! All of these are 10/10 (with the exception of Valentino beauty – giving it a 9/10 because it’s too dainty. Great product though!). As a whole, I love all of these brands and products and would recommend them to anyone.
