My Hair
I’ll be honest. I was not blessed with a head full of thick, luxurious hair. My hair is very fine, prone to split ends, tangles easily and proves difficult in holding curls. Over the years, I have tried a lot of different hair products hoping for fuller and healthier hair, but have been left disappointed when my hair felt weighed down and unmanageable. I recently started using Pura D’or and have been so happy with the results! My hair feels incredibly soft and I have found that it doesn’t fall flat after 10 minutes. It looks and feels healthier with a subtle shine and even after 12 hours, it still has a good amount of volume. With my fine hair, I always have issues with it getting greasy by the end of the day and I have found that this does not make my hair greasy at all.
Also, I have noticed a significant decrease in my hair shedding …and trust me, it was awful (all over our couch, my car, my husbands clothes, etc lol)! Most of all, I love that it uses clean ingredients! I never realized how important clean ingredients are for the health of the scalp, but I have found that having a healthy scalp can actually prevent hair loss naturally and energize the hair from root to tip. Also, it works incredibly with colored-treated hair and amazingly if you wear extensions because it actually strengthens your real hair.
Since discovering how much of a difference clean, non-toxic ingredients make, I’ve been slowly swapping out other products in my routine for cleaner alternatives as well.
