Charlotte Tilbury really knows what she’s doing when it comes to makeup and skincare! I personally LOVE her makeup and was so thrilled to finally try the Look of Love Collection. Below I’m sharing my thoughts on the face palette, lipsticks and lip and cheek tints. I also included a video version as well! Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look of Love Palette
Instant Look of Love Palette in Pretty Blushed Beauty
There are two different face palettes and both are equally gorgeous! This is Pretty Blushed Beauty and it’s seriously the most gorgeous thing ever! Firstly, the packaging has that signature Charlotte Tilbury old Hollywood glam look (very similar to the Filmstar Bronze and Glow Palette). I’m a sucker for beautiful packaging!
Inside are three eyeshadow shades to brighten, enhance and smoke, a bronzer, highlighter, blush color and face powder. The shades in this face palette work really well together! They seem expertly curated to create the most beautiful, natural look. And like Charlotte Tilbury’s other palettes, they are also very easy to use and include everything you need for a flawless face.
In this photo, I’m wearing everything from the palette aside from the face powder. I actually found it a bit too dark on my skin (it’s in the light/medium shade) so instead I used it as an eye shadow base to create this look. I also do wish the blush was slightly larger because honestly, the shade is just so beautiful!!
Overall, I am obsessed! I typically go for pink tones on my eyes so the warm neutrals were a welcome change. It’s a very natural yet glam look. I also really love the formula for all of these! They have very buildable coverage yet it feels super lightweight, as if you aren’t wearing anything at all. And of course, the size is perfect for travel (you no longer have to bring a million products)! It also comes in a second gorgeous color scheme called Glowing Beauty.

Nude Romance Lipstick

This is a K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipstick in the shade Nude Romance. I found the formula to be hydrating and smooth. I also love the subtle sheen! As for the color, I don’t typically go for nude tones as I find that they tend to look brown on me. However, I actually really like this one! It looks like it has peachy-pink undertones, which in my opinion is super flattering. Totally not what I expected at all in the best way.I don’t think I’ve ever loved a nude lipstick so much!
Wedding Belles Lipstick

This is a Matte Revolution lipstick in the shade Wedding Belles. The formula is silky smooth and matte without drying out the lips. To be honest, this is my typical color when it comes to lipstick and the one that I feel the most beautiful in. When I take blog photos or film videos, this is usually the type of color that I’m wearing. It’s a gorgeous mauvey-pink shade – such a dreamy color! It’s very feminine and romantic. Also, I’ve seen a lot of people compare it to Pillowtalk but in my opinion, it’s a bit darker.
Mrs Kisses Lipstick

This is a Matte Revolution lipstick in the shade Mrs Kisses. The formula is silky smooth and matte without drying out the lips. At first glance, I wasn’t sure what to make of this color but I was pleasantly surprised once I applied it on my lips. To me, it looks like a beautiful rose color with a slightly orangey-red undertone. It’s really gorgeous and completely went above and beyond my expectations! It’s elegant and bold but not over the top.
First Dance Lipstick

This is a Matte Revolution lipstick in the shade First Love. The formula is silky smooth and matte without drying out the lips. This color is a stunning rosey-plum shade. This is my typical color for fall and winter so I knew that I would love it as soon as I saw it. It’s a bit darker than the others (in the best way) and I think it would complement so many different skin stones. Such a show-stopping, regal color.

Overall Thoughts
ALL of these colors are stunning! I wasn’t expecting to love the entire collection but WOW, I honestly love them all and I think they are all super flattering. I also think that they would look amazing on a variety of skin tones! Each color is so feminine and romantic yet extremely wearable.
The details are also incredible! There are little hearts stamped on each lipstick and the case is out of this world gorgeous! In fact, it might be my favorite lipstick case they’ve ever created! And if that wasn’t enough, the lipsticks are refillable.

Charlotte Tilbury Tinted Love Lip and Cheek Tint
Blushed Rose Lip and Cheek Tint
This is the lip and cheek tint in Blushed Rose and let me tell you, it definitely lives up to it’s name. The shade is just a tad darker than my natural lip color and while sheer, it leaves behind a pretty hint of a color. The shade itself is a lovely nude-rose color for a barely there look. The formula leaves behind a slight sheen without being sticky or glossy. It’s very natural and perfect for everyday wear.
Santa Euphoria Lip and Cheek Tint
This is the lip and cheek tint in Santa Euphoria. This is slightly darker than Blushed Rose and to me, it looks like it has a subtle rosey-nude undertone. This color is totally different than what I normally go for and I didn’t expect to love it as much as I do. It really is such a pretty color and I think this is one that can easy go from day to night. Plus the formula doesn’t budge! I found that it stayed in place and I didn’t have to reapply.
Love Chain Lip and Cheek Tint
This is the lip and cheek tint in Love Chain. This color was much brighter than I was expecting! I totally thought it was going to be a darker red but I found it to be more of a strawberry red. The color is absolutely stunning and I think that it would be the perfect hue for date night or even the holidays. I also tested it out while eating and drinking and I found there to be no transfer or dulling of the color after doing so.

Overall Thoughts
I really love the colors and I love how different they are from each other. The formula definitely wasn’t what I expected but I really love it! For lip and cheek tints, I’ve tried gel and cream based formulas in the past but this one is more watery. I found that it adhered to the lip well and felt as if you weren’t wearing anything at all! I found it to be more of a stain rather than a tint.
The colors are quite sheer so you can easily layer for more pigment. For each color above, I used two layers of color (letting it dry in between each). I also think it’s important to try to apply it evenly so it dries evenly, especially on the brighter colors. The application isn’t too hard but it does take a bit of practice. I have not tried this on my cheeks yet so no thoughts there 😉
