Activewear does not have to be ugly! I’ve always been a feminine dresser and many of you might be surprised to know that I love hiking and being outdoors. However, hiking clothing and activewear tends to be… less than aesthetic looking haha! That is not the case with Lolë clothing.
I recently found this brand and I am in love with all of the beautiful and stylish options they have to offer for activewear! I took all these on my recent trip to Yosemite to properly test them out. The weather varied greatly from 18 degrees to 65 degrees F so it was interesting to see how each one faired. Do they live up to the hype? Find out below in my honest Lolë review!

Lolë Review: Feminine Activewear & Winter Coats
Table of Contents
What is Lolë Clothing?
Lolë is a clothing brand that includes versatile and stylish activewear for men and women. They started with outerwear but have since grown to include items like tops, bottom, dresses, swimwear and accessories like yoga mats, beanies and scarves and of course, the best-selling Lole belt bag.
My Favorite Lolë Winter Coats
For this Lolë review, I wanted to share my honest thoughts and first impressions on the iconic Lolë winter coats! They have a variety of coats and jackets to fit any lifestyle. I got these specifically for hiking, travel and outdoor adventures but they would make great casual day-time options as well. If you’re wondering what to wear to Yosemite, you will love these feminine camping outfits!
Lolë Claudia Jacket
I got the Claudia Down Jacket in Gardenia, a beautiful creamy marshmallow white. This coat comes in a variety of solid colors (mainly neutrals but there are a few outliers like a lovely merlot red and icy blue). It’s wind-proof, water-repellent and comes with a removable hood. It includes fabric that is sustainably sourced without harmful chemicals including responsible down standard. Heat level is 0 to 10 degrees C (32 to 14 degrees F).
Initial Thoughts on the Claudia Down Jacket
This Lolë coat is very comfortable, warm and lightweight but large in the waist area. I probably could have gone down one size. I do wish it had a belt though to create a more feminine shape! The longer length is really nice as I tend to get colder on my bottom half and this creates more warmth overall. The color is also really beautiful and matches everything!
Lolë Claudia Down Jacket Performance
This is a very lightweight coat and it easily packs away, which is nice. I wore this one on our visit to Yosemite’s Glacier Point (recently re-opened and my favorite viewing spot in the park!). The weather was about 55 degrees F up here when we went and I felt very comfortable in this jacket – not too hot or too cold. I found it to be very easy to explore in and extremely comfortable to wear overall! Although it’s easy to clean, I probably wouldn’t wear the lighter color ones at the campsite thought 😉
Lolë Rain Jackets
I got the Element Rain Jacket in Foxglove, a stunning mauve-pink color! This rain jacket also comes in a variety of colors along with a pattern. It’s water-repellent, breathable, fully seam sealed and quick-drying. It includes fabric that are sustainably sourced without harmful chemicals.
Initial thoughts on Lolë Rain Jackets
The color is absolutely beautiful! In fact, it makes me want to wear it out and about. This Lolë jacket is lightweight and packs away nicely for travel (I stashed it in my backpack for unexpected showers during my recent Mexico trip). It also runs true to size, in my opinion.
Lolë Element Rain Jacket Performance
Originally, it was supposed to rain (and snow) on our first day of camping but luckily, the weather ended up being more favorable. I took this with me on our hike to Vernal Fall, my favorite Yosemite hike! I found this jacket to be very warm while we were walking (great for keeping heat in) but still breathable and comfortable to wear. It was about 45 to 50 degrees F. Since I went in the fall, the waterfall wasn’t as misty so I didn’t get to test out the jacket in wet conditions but just know that it’s definitely water-repellent! This was actually my hubby’s fave!
Lolë Emeline Jacket
Emeline Down Jacket in Rhubarb
Emeline Down Jacket in Terrae
I got the Emeline Down Jacket in not one but TWO colors – Rhubarb, the perfect shade of Barbie pink and Terrae, a gorgeous pastel floral print! This jacket comes in many colors from classic neutrals to bold and bright hues! It’s windproof, water-repellent and comes with a removable hood. It includes fabric that is sustainably sourced without harmful chemicals including responsible down standard. Heat level is 0 to -10 degrees C (32 to 14 degrees F ).
Initial thoughts on the Emeline Down Jacket
In my opinion, this Lolë down jacket is the shorter version of the Claudia Jacket! The shorter length is very wearable and perfect as an everyday jacket. It’s lightweight, warm and packs away nicely for travel. I also love the variety of colors. The Terrae Emeline Down Jacket is probably my favorite of the bunch just for the print alone – it’s so feminine! I would say this also runs true to size.
Lolë Emeline Down Jacket Performance
I wore the pink version during our hike to the famed Ahwahnee Hotel. We had a picnic and walked all around the valley. It was about 40 to 55 degrees during our excursions and I felt super comfortable! It was easy to wear and kept me warm when I needed it to. Plus the pink color makes such a fun statement!
As for the floral version, I wore this the following day when we went to Yosemite’s Tunnel View, hiked to Bridalveil Fall and took an adventure to the Tuolumne Meadows and Tenaya Lake area. Since I wore it for such a large portion of the day, the temperature varied greatly from 45 to 65 degrees F. Again, it was extremely comfortable and I felt really pretty in it (which is hard to do when you’re camping haha!).
Lolë Chloe Synth Down Jacket
I got the Chloe Synth Down Jacket in mauve, the most stunning shade of pink I’ve ever seen! It also comes in black. This Lolë winter coat is water repellent, soft and features a fixed hood. It includes fabric that are sustainably sourced without harmful chemicals including Loftech vegan insulation. Heat level is -20 to -30 degrees C (-4 to -22 degrees F ).
Initial Thoughts on the Chloe Synth Down Jacket
This coat is GORGEOUS! I never thought I would fall in love with a coat like this but it’s just so stunning. The color is magical AND it also include a tie at the waist. This is perfect for creating a feminine shape that can often get lost in puffy coats. It’s also VERY warm – definitely the warmest of the bunch. This could easily be a coat for daily wear in a place that has a colder climate. I would highly recommend going down a size though! My normal size was huge so I ended up exchanging for one size down (still large but much more manageable).
Lolë Chloe Synth Down Jacket Performance
This was definitely the star of the show during my Yosemite trip. I can’t event tell you how many compliments I got from complete strangers asking where I got this beautiful pink coat! Since this one is the warmest, I took advantage of wearing it every morning and evening. I wore this one to the Ahwahnee, on a hike through the frozen meadow near Curry Village, during our exploration of Yosemite Valley and at Olmstead Point during our Tuolumne excursion. I also slept in this one every single night and stayed toasty warm! The temperature varied from 18 to 45 degrees and I was extremely comfortable (plus I felt like a queen wearing this beauty!).
Honest Lolë Review
Overall, I love the designs of the coats and all of the colors! When I say it’s hard to find feminine activewear and girly camping jackets, I mean it. We’ve been going to Yosemite once or twice a year for the last 15 years and until now, I’ve always worn the same things because I didn’t want to succumb to khaki and boring nature colors (no offense if that’s your jam!). All of these jackets are gorgeous and serve a purpose, which I love. You could easily wear them day to day – no need to only wear for outdoor activities.
I also thought that they were very appropriate for the temperature changes! We always go to Yosemite during the fall and the weather is always a roll of the dice. Sometimes it’s cold and other times, it’s unseasonably warm. This trip was actually our coldest trip that we’ve ever had in Yosemite and the coats held up well! I also want to note that I purposely only brought t-shirts to wear under them so I could get a feel for how warm the jackets really are. You could easily layer up under any of these and be even warmer!
Overall I highly recommend! this is my first experience with this brand but it won’t be my last. Check them out here and use my Lolë discount code, LIZZIE15 for 15% off!
